Bingo. I'm currently running beta 7 of iOS 5. If you have a developer's account or have your imei added to a developer's account, it allows you to test/run the beta software. I wouldn't suggest the average user do that, as it is beta code. It can be pretty buggy at times, apps don't work, crazy things happen. Best features of the new version are easier to use camera, free texting between iOS 5 devices (goes through apples servers rather than AT&T), and bit more responsive.

Siri was about the only thing interesting I read about the new phone. I have a iPhone 4, and I have no plans to upgrade to this one. I'd bet money that once the phone is out, the jailbreakers will be able to make Siri work with the current version of iPhone if its just a matter of having some type of processor check in the code. I've been using the new iOS 5 for sometime, so most of those features they were showing I've been used to already.

I tried MagicJack for a good bit. When it first came out it was pretty good, but as more were sold the quality and service got worse. Lots of static, calls that would disconnect after a certain time, sometimes it would not even work. What I ended up doing is going with a PAP2 device (internet to phone) and Callcentric. It runs me about $5 a month for service, and works fine with my alarm system. It doesn't sound good if you have someone on a cell phone call you, due to compression between the two devices, but normal landline to it is great. My friends and family know that if they are on a cell

My parents just bought one on short sale, and "short" it is not. Took them about 6 months to get it complete. Things sat on people's desk, paperwork "vanished", paperwork had to be redone every time a deadline was missed. It was a great deal, but a major PITA.

Agreed, they make one killer burger. Hooters makes a pretty good burger, and Merle's is good as well (had one last night). Didn't care too much for Bobby's, heard the meat they use is pretty low grade.

I thought the Wallace in Yorkville was pretty good. But the Briar Patch ? I thought that had to be the worst BBQ I've ever had. Tasted like it was from a can, much like the old Sonny's BBQ was. Merle's on 61 just south of the Food Lion is great, just the brunswick stew is a bit watery.

I saw one on the back of a young girls car a month or two ago that stuck with me.. "Lick My Piercing"

I use Godaddy myself but my domain info is "parked" with google sites. I don't have a website setup (used to though), but I use my domain for my e-mail address. This way if I switch ISP (Internet Service Providers), I do not have to worry about changing my e-mail. I have my e-mail setup as an IMAP account as well. What this means is that my mail is held on their servers, rather than on my personal computer device. My mailbox looks the same across all my devices (webmail, iPhone, computer). If I delete mail on one device, its gone on all of them. It doesn't matter which device I access it from,

I cannot imagine losing my wife, I think only a child would be worse. I did however lose my grandfather that I was very close and looked up to back in March. Had it been natural causes it probably wouldn't have been so bad. He had got to the point where he really didn't need to be driving, and would not be able to do many activities he liked, such as gardening (and when he planted, it was a serious garden requiring tractors and such), hunting, etc. He got home from the hospital after having pneumonia. That evening his wife (my grandmother passed back in 1991) helped him to bed, and then w

There's one on Merchants Drive near the Krystal (same side) but before you get to the old Mrs. Winners and McDonalds, kinda in where the shopping center is on that side with the gas station. They are $17 - I see them when I am headed home from work and need to swing by Elrod's.

If you know their kids names, try seeing if you can get a copy of birth or death certificates of them. Often the parents names will be listed there. Other things to try are draft records to look for, the ones from WW2 are online now. If you know when/where they might have been born/died, check out the local newspaper archives at a library and search there. But without alot of info it might be hard to track them down.

Check out homesecuritystore.com, I've ordered a good bit of alarm items from them when I installed one in my own house. If you need help programming/setup, they are happy to chat with you on the phone about it. I'm just a customer, no affiliation or anything with them. They also have forums which can be a wealth of information as well.

I've looked into this myself and I believe that's pretty much what they do. They can give you general types of people that you are made up of, what areas they might have been from. But its not going to tie you to specific people or anything. I think they can go as far as saying you have native american descent in some cases, but its not going to get you into any tribe registry or a specific tribe. One thing on Ancestry.com, if you get to using it and using others records - is look at those with a fine tooth comb. There's folks who just bring in any old record with the right name and get th

I'm not too fond of the taste myself, but I never had problems giving them to family who liked them. They did have that bit of a liver taste to them. Used to go quail hunting many years ago, but that was with my grandfather who had dogs and knew folks down in south Georgia with land to hunt. Both him and the land are gone now. We used to hunt doves across the street from his house when I was in high school. I'd keep boxes of shells my car so after school I'd head over to his place on Bankhead Hwy in Mableton (now its a frame shop) and we'd shoot them over there. Now Cobb County would be on you

Hehe, I've been dove hunting a good bit as well. Problem now is just finding somewhere reasonable to do it. My experiences is that the WMA's usually don't have many there (or they fly way up in the air), and the other sites charge too much. Usually you will see hunts from $125-200 for opening day/weekend, which is a far cry from when I used to pay $20-30 for opening day.

My wife and I are both into it, and it can get pretty addicting. We tend to do most of it during the colder months when we are stuck indoors. Just be careful how far you did. Just to give you an idea I grew up in Lithia Springs and she grew up out in Dekalb, and we met on a phone dating service. As we traced things back a few years ago, we ended up discovering that we are distant cousins, both related to a common ancestor out of Ellijay. Its like 7-8th cousin removed I think is the correct term, but it was pretty freaky when we discovered it. When you have families from the same area and those

Mine have slowed down due to the heat, they did the same thing last summer as well. If they get disturbed for some reason, they might slack off depending on what bothered them.

If they put a Mexican restaurant and Chinese buffet in with them, I think we'd be set.

Took my beagle yesterday to the Hiram Animal Clinic and saw Dr. Wendy Meeker. I was pretty worried since he is older and some lumps pop up on his chest/cheek, but she reassured me it was just fatty lumps, nothing to worry about. He had a scratch on his eye and she treated him for that and gave me some drops, so all is well. I had been taking my critters to The Ark, but last time or two there they charge for just about everything, very little is included in the exam. The cost for the medicine and the visit was very reasonable with them.

Anybody else suffering from these allergies or a cold?

One suggestion I'll give is to start eating local, non-filtered/non-pasteurized honey. Not the junk sold in the supermarket, but what you can find at your local farmer's market or a nearby beekeeper. Take about a spoon or two a day. Getting it local means it will have pollen from the plants near you, and its very much like an allergy shot. You get small amounts daily of whats blowing around in the air. I have pretty bad allergies and asthma, and some arthritis in my hands. Since taking up beekeeping, I don't have much trouble any more. The honey has cured most of my allergy issues, and getting -
Sorry for you loss. All my grandparents are gone, but with one I was in a similar situation. My grandmother on my dad's side had Alzheimer's. She hung onto life, what little there was left for over 6 years before she finally passed on. Our family was relieved when she finally did go, because her body was in such terrible shape, and her mind was pretty much gone. To see this sweet woman just waste away for several years was tough, but all of us knew it was just a matter of time before she died. Several times we were told that "this is it, anytime now", only to have her cling on for another year

I just switched from one of the "fee charger banks" to LGE. If you don't know, LGE actually stands for Lockheed Georgia Employees (Credit Union). Been around a good while, but now everyone can join instead of those just working for Lockheed. Using the inside "teller" is similar to going through drive-thru, you pick up a phone and have a TV/Camera to speak/view the teller. You send anything through one of the drive-thru chutes. But they do have face-to-face folks inside if you had some issue you needed assistance with. Other bank options which have limited/no local bank are USAA, Charles Sc

Who does stock the locally killed chicken here, or is it something absurd where GA chicken goes to Minnesota and the Minnesota chicken comes here ? I don't need eggs due to having my own hens, but we do eat a good bit of chicken.
-
Agreed. Never had any issues with them, they always pick up when they are supposed to. Just steer clear of American Waste Disposal(see several threads on here alone about their bad service).

I figured it was just a matter of time. When I've watched the last few Apple events and Jobs is there, he looks worse every time. I know the last one he looked almost like one of the holocaust victims, so thin and just rough looking. I hope he is able to conquer whatever is afflicting him, but I do agree he pretty much IS the company. Apple was the one that really pushed the limits with music players, smartphones, tablets, even their operating system. Its not often that someone comes along that changes an entire industry.
