Kicked my buttocks is right! That's what is most sore!!!!! I kept up with everything he asked us to do - except modified a couple of activities for the bum knee. Just hang in there Lucky! As long as you do all the reps he tells us to do even if you don't finish everything. That way you'll get the right "burn" for those muscles and get the toning you want. Suz works out regularly already and I work out on and off again with her. That may be what helped me get all the reps in. I'll definitely lay off the water until floor exercises are done too! I was glad to see how he kept ev

Woo Hoo! Passed my first P'Com idiot test!!!!

No school in PC this week, so the Bd of Ed is off the hook - they don't have to call it. I wish I had to worry about the roads being impassable - to go to work or not..... like a few others on here, I'm unemployed at the moment. I hope if anything it snows enough tomorrow morning that I can play with my nephews (I didn't see them for the Friday snow, so that could be fun). However, I really prefer everyone get to their destinations safely.

Are you talking about Nixle? Paulding County Sheriff's Office posts information through that tool/site. Otherwise, Paulding DOT.

Paulding County GOP will be having a forum for the three cadidates for House District 19 on Tuesday, February 16 at 7PM at Party Headquarters - located in The Village shopping center at 105 Village Walk, Suite 283, at the intersection of Seaboard Dr. and Hwy 278. Doors will open at 6:30. It should last about an hour. I'm so glad Pubby and P'Com has the event tonight. This forum will be your "last chance" to meet/discuss with the candidates before the election.

A couple of months ago I stopped at Kroger at 61/278 before going to work. Even though I agree - Put them where they go in the corrals - I would have accepted if this woman propped it up against the concrete posts near the handicapped space. My car was facing the way she was parked - but she was up the "hill" about 2 more spots than me. I was next the HC space. There was a car next to her (just one up from me) and no one directly in front of me. She walked to behind the car next to her and just PUSHED the cart towards the HC space and let it go. I was actually still in my car putting on

UH...NO!!!!! Can't decide if I better start working up to it now or just wait! Will you be back? I really am looking forward to it. "Our birthdays" come up just after this 6 week course, and I'll be 40, so looking forward to toning up some before then!

Good luck! My cousin and I signed up for the boot camp - based on CrownApp's info. I think Lucky64 may sign up too. Either way, it's a good deal, local, and good for us, right?

I had asked in a post a few weeks ago if PC has a boot camp. Here is the link to that post - with some good info from a member. Sign ups are this week and next. http://paulding.com/forum/index.php?/topic/236073-does-paulding-county-have/page__p__3064163entry3064163

Oh yeah, on a side note.... UnionMom - Cool that it's your hubbie's birthday. CrownApp - that's a wonderful story. Hope to meet up with you for boot camp. Lucky 64 - you too. I'm going tomorrow to sign up. Apologies for the hijack.... but a fun story to bump again anyway.

Wow! We should all get together to celebrate our birthdays and adoption days!!!!!! Woo hoo! That is awesome. I was born on April 16th too. And, I have an older cousin on my mom's side that has that birthday - AND a cousin on my dad's side born 1 hour before me. Congratulations!

Almost across the street from the hospital. Technically, if you're coming from Downtown/old courthouse towards the hospital, they are on the right in an older white building just before you would get into left turn lane to go to hospital.

I love love love Giardano's Pizza when in the Chicago area. I haven't been in forever. Had friends that lived in Waukegan, and we'd have pizza the day that I flew home - I'd bring the box with me carry on - on the plane and eat the leftovers once back home. Most of those places will let you order and will ship to you.

Early Preference Poll for District 19 Representative race
mevans_70 replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I can't vote in this election - wrong district. I see 3 types of candidates. This is not favoring any of the three, just saying what I've seen1 Ronnie - a mature seasoned candidate that may be able to fit in and negotiate with the powers that be. His background is labor negotiations. Daniel - a younger conservative voice who is very pro-life, would offer newer thoughts/ideas to the process. Jody - an experienced small business owner that understands the struggles of the SBO (taxation, regulations) and the individual citizens of the county. There is a meet & greet at the Chamber -

Tara, my prayers go out to you and your family. Bless you! I think you were receiving a nice little remembrance/sign when you heard those songs. It's amazing how we get those little nudges when we need them most. I told Robbie to pass my thoughts and prayers to you. Hopefully he did. Love and prayers.....

I was laid off late November. I totally understand the small elated feeling of getting a break. Now it's been long enough that I'm getting a little antsy and hope something turns up soon. For me, I was in Sales and Project Management. But I think you also posted about a weight loss goal. So, this will give you more time to exercise and focus on you and what you want to do next. Good luck!!!!

My mom used these guys last spring and they were awesome, reasonably priced. They are proud of their work and want you to be proud of it too. Stacy's Floors. 404-291-6074. -
So sorry Tara. Prayers for you and your family. I'll be thinking of you while you're traveling too.

My ex-bil and his fiance had it last weekend and then early this week. I care because I have 2 nephews that spend time with them. Luckily they weren't there over the weekend, but low and behold - and this is classic story for later in life...... My sister was getting married tonight - small ceremony with family and a couple of friends. My 4 year old nephew got the bug just after the ceremony and while we were eating. So on her wedding night she and the new hubby had to go clean up the floor. I guess it'll get us all later in the week. Hoping for the best.

Thanks for checking and keeping us updated Pubby! -
So glad to see your humor! That is great... lol. I had a funny one about PrezBo a while back but maybe only share via PM. Don't want too many people to get angry with me.

Candidates finalized for House Dist. 19 race

That's AWESOME Feelip - That you have been engaged in local elections. I have much more respect for someone that complains about not liking the leadership we have IF they actually try to make changes and use their voice to be heard. Now, back on topic... Jerry or Commissioners have nothing to do with the comments or post about the special election. Pubby or LPPT, do we have a forum to let the public ask questions of the candidates once qualifying is over? Perhaps we could get like 10 top questions citizens have for the candidates, reach out to them for a response, and then write an -

Perhaps Feelip it's time you step up and serve? I agree that many are as you describe them above. HOWEVER, unless someone really "mad as heck and not gonna take it anymore" steps up to take the place of the power hungry you describe above, then all the choices we have will continue to be as you describe. Having said that, lip service or not, the candidates that were willing to step up to qualify seemed to have the our interests at heart. They were all willing to speak to those in the community and welcomed us to contact them. In another post you mentioned party affiliation and what
