Thank you. And I agree with Thoughs 100%. Well said. -
I would make it a law that if you get caught being inconsiderate or oblivious 5 times, Whether it be in the grocery store line, at the gas station, the bank, in traffic, At a restaurant, at school, at work, ect. You go straight to jail. I realize this would be very hard to enforce.

Fox News is reporting 2 elementary schools have taken a direct hit. Hoping for a miracle and everyone is ok.

We never lost power. Adding that to my thankful list for the day. I mean really, really thankful.

I went to high school with a Peter Wacker. True story. I'm sure you niece remembers him.

I don't know what it is about that intersection that makes people's brains stop working. It's like some sort of mysterious phenomenon.

I remember only bits and pieces from when I was really little but my first vivid memory was when I was about 5 and my older sister told me that my real mom was a wealthy woman with long black hair who died shortly after I was born. She told me that my "real" moms ghost would look in the window at me at night while I slept. Scared the crap outta me! Of course, none of this was true. She was just mean. She got in big trouble for that.

My dads name is Richard. His friends and my mom call him Dick. I always refer to him as Richard when I introduce him to people. I just can't bring myself to say that word in front of him.

You know what, if just one life can be saved by her coming out and talking about her story, it's worth it. I really feel like she did this for the benefit of others. If she were wanting attention, she would have been talking about it from the get-go. She is human, just like the rest of us. Humans helping humans is a good thing.

I agree with you. By strict definition, I have probably been sexually harassed many times. I thought the guy who asked me out on a date right after he hired me was creepy. That's just bad business practice. And super creepy. In other cases, for me, Compliments given were just that. I am no longer in the workforce, I stay at home with my son. I think in this day and age it's just better to keep complements to yourself while at work. As sad as that may be.

I once had an interviewer ask me out on a date right after he hired me. I didn't take the job. Creepy.

This. However, there was one time a friend of mine and I snuck out of her dads house, a car full of teenage boys offered us a ride and we took it. Thankfully, nothing bad happened. I made some pretty dumb decisions as a teenager. -

Wow, yes, let's by all means blame the location of the crime instead of the crazy with a gun. Makes perfect sense. Eta- Is the city of Boston responsible for the marathon bombings as well? Lets be fair. -

This happens to us every year. I quit trying. -
I have a lot more respect for the parents who recognize something might be off early and have it checked out than I do for the parents who are in complete denial that something is in fact off, and do nothing about it. I see that a lot, even in my own family. Early intervention is SO important. I think maybe some parents are just paranoid, because of the rising rates of autism, That's why they are quicker to think something might be wrong. I wouldn't say they are ready to jump on the bandwagon. That almost makes it sound like they are eager to. Nobody in their right mind wants to be on tha

Same here, my birthday is the 14th. Not really a fan of when they fall on the same day. I like to have two separate days of awesomeness. I usually visit my mom the day before Mother's Day, then on Mother's Day I do whatever I want, all day long. Watch movies, eat good food, take a nap. Relax. Of course, now that my son is 2, I don't see any of this happening, except the good food part. That will happen.

If it were my kid, I wouldn't opt for an outpatient program. They need to get out of their current environment for a while.
