  1. I had leftover barbecue pork from last night so I made barbecue Taquitos. Garlic fries and jalapenos coleslaw on the side.
  2. They're all over the outside of my house. Especially in the mornings. They seem friendly enough.
  3. We should've never gone in the first place. I was for the war before I was against it.
  4. I also agree but it seems most folks are willing to look the other way. At least somebody's talking about it.
  5. This- http://www.afamilyfeast.com/chicken-breasts-mushroom-onion-dijon-sauce/
  6. I read that the truck driver nodded off while driving. I hope he will be okay, I like Tracy Morgan.
  7. No kidding, I'm going to wait until the facts come out before I make my judgments. I never thought I would see the day that conservatives are pissed off about the release of an American POW.
  8. Last nights leftover carnitas became tonight's shredded pork taquitos with jalapeño cream sauce and cilantro lime rice.
  9. "This is a carjack!" "Well of course this is a car, but my name's not Jack, it's Greg." Another favorite. Yes, I'm a dork.
  10. I had trails of ants in my kitchen many years ago. I read that if I lined the area I saw them in with coffee grounds they wouldn't come back. I lined my windowsills and the insides of one of my cabinets and it worked. They never came back. Like I said though that was with a trail of them and I knew where they were coming in.
  11. So sad. She was 88 and apparently fell and hit her head. The Brady Bunch is my all time favorite show. Still.
  12. I wish I could give you a hug., momof3. And thanks for the perspective.
  13. I find TP to be very insightful at times. I think he's a whole lot smarter than some give him credit for.
  14. I got excused last week because I have a 3 year old. They said they won't call me back until he's 6. I didn't have to show proof or anything I just went to the courthouse and signed a paper.
  15. Exactly. I found this quote by Maya Angelou and it reminded me of this topic- "Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at it's destination full of hope."
  16. Awesome. Truly. A "friend" of mine said this on FB yesterday and I couldn't agree more, "If we are going to keep talking about the fact that we need to eradicate autism and it should no longer exist, we have to recognize that the message to autistic people, of every age, will continue to be that they should no longer exist. "We're talking about our children, friends -- in many cases, startlingly young children -- who are saying that they shouldn't BE anymore." I want people to listen to people like Andrew Solomon, NOT Autism Speaks. Realize that MANY of us with children that have differenc
  17. She's alive and well on Facebook.
  18. I would use Bone circle when my daughter went to Moses and I needed to go to Kroger after I dropped her off at school. It seemed silly to go all the way down to the light and then take a left. Still does. I live on a road that lots of people use as a shortcut, it's 25mph, nobody goes 25 except the people who live here. I get the frustration but you simply can't dictate where people drive.
  19. Lemon butter boneless fried chicken, roasted lemon herb fingerling potatoes and sautéed asparagus & garlic.
  20. My parents went to the new Paulding hospital today for a heart scan, both of them. It was a preventative measure. I can't wait to do fun things like that with my husband when we grow older : D. Anyway, my mom raved about it. She said it was a great experience and they love the new hospital.
  21. A good lookin' Marine grandma?! Dude, that's awesome. Semper Fi. I'm a proud daughter of a Marine.
  22. Omgawd. My famy used to go camping every year at lake Allatoona. I hated it. Hate.ed. It. I can remember walking to the showers past the people camping with RVs with their electricity and stuff. Ugh. Camping with an RV sounds great though. I would love to take a cross-country RV trip one day.
