I understand subrogation, but aren't you still filing claim with your own insurance -- that affects your rates as well as is reported in the national insurance database? If you change companies, one of the questions that comes up is "have you had any claims in the past 5 years?"

Almost all colleges have zero tolerance for cheating and plagiarism. They may not kick him out of school, but they usually will fail him out of the course and put him on academic or disciplinary probation. Unless he was already on probation, then they would probably then kick him out. The theft matter is different because it depends on the victim and the amount/value and if law enforcement got involved, etc.

I got a few jars at big lots for $2.80 (13oz) - expires 2011, so i am stocked up for a while.....

I agree, it was probably the head gasket all along or a warped head causing the gasket to leak. Sorry to tell ya, but you will have to get another engine though, once coolant (water) gets in the oil it eats the bearings in no time at all. Corrosion pits the bearing surfaces. You could put a head gasket & even a new head on -it would run for maybe another couple of months before it would die again from bearing failure. The main bearings and rod bearings are the first to go & will start making a racket that gets louder and louder. Your cheapest route is to get a junk yard

You are going to have to get a few free consults with different attorneys. Nowadays, most are not going to readily take a case where the driver is not cited by police as being at fault. Especially if the driver has minimum coverage and no assets to be able to attach to even if they were able to get a judgment. Proving a driver is negligent if the police didn't think so will be an uphill battle..... good luck with his recovery

Help! I can't load pics from my phone to computer
marteenj replied to cmdudley's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Probably need an updated / vista driver for your nextel software so it will "see" the phone (device). It could also be not recognizing the USB port on the computer. Try sending the picture to your email account using your phone, and then open your email in vista and download the picture on to the computer -

The state of georgia has surplus cars and trucks each week on their internet auction sites. Some are junk and some are fairly new. The average running one goes for under $1000. Unfortunately, this week there are only 2 or 3 on there. Keep checking. http://ssl.doas.state.ga.us/html/SurplusPr...bSealedBids.htm

Southside medical center will pull it for $40 or less if it can't be repaired. They are near turner field and do great work for low income health and dental. There is a long wait for an appointment, but you can do a walk in between 8am and 9am and they will fit you in. www.southsidemedical.net/

thanks, that's a good idea to find out if i have the bad drywall before contacting the insurance company and get instantly denied or lose coverage for the whole house.

Chattahoochee Tech & West Central Tech in douglasville, as long as you stay with a state school it will probably be free through hope scholarship & federal pell grant combined. Qualifying depends on high school diploma / GED, last year's income, etc. I guess you need to decide if you want a "quickie" course or if you are looking for a college degree situation. Even southern polytechnic has a fire science degree that has EMT qualifications included. Some schools require you to take the TEAS test before they will place you on the waiting list for their medical related prog

Last i had seen Lasik Plus, their nearest location is on cobb parkway, near akers mill / cumberland. I used the woodams eye clinic near I-285/400. Lasik Plus is cheaper and run kind of like an asssembly line, but it's your eyes............

I agree. When they were trying to "sell" the self checkout idea to consumers about 10 years ago, they (specifically kroger) stated that it would be more convenient for the customer, faster checkouts, and help keep prices lower. so far, i see they are wrong with all 3 strikes............. mainly i see deceptively smaller packaging, rude customer service, and high prices. anyone else notice that the "inflated" prices from the gas scare last year due to "extra shipping costs" have, in most cases, not gone back down?

Greetings, here is a link for a free bowling game coupon due to national bowling week. Though i am not sure, and correct me if i am wrong, it seems that it is good for kids 13 and under, & not sure how many in a group can get a free game, etc. There doesn't seem to be a local alley listed, only kennesaw, douglasville, carrollton and austell road. Hope someone can use it ! http://coupon.bowl.com/coupon/coupon.jsp

They finally caught one of those speeding bikers
marteenj replied to Jetsmom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yeah, i guess it is always a debate as to whether to chase them down, and maybe risking a wreck involving others or following them and setting up a roadblock, etc. Still, it is a big difference with someone doing 10-20 mph over, and someone doing 100 mph over the limit. That is not just ignoring the law, that is arrogance of the law. (did that come out right?) -
Depends on the area you want to go, and if you have your own raft or need to rent one. Most any place north of atlanta is going to be clean river. However, you can still have a good experience if you go down near whitesburg and in the mcintosh reserve (carroll county parks and rec) www.carrollcountyrec.com

Most detailers will do a good job of cleaning up the mess and stain. However, not all of them are willing to remove trim, lift the carpet and insulation to clean and dry, pull the rubber grommets / drains and rinse it out with clean water. The insulation under the carpet is hard to dry without removing it and letting it air out. It's also where the mold starts to grow, and then you will see it in the carpet after a month or so. If there are stains in the carpet, club soda / tonic water works wonders.

Get all the liquid out that you can. A wet vac would be best. Watch / smell for mold growth in about a week or 2. The biggest issue is the "sweet" tea. Sugar is very corrosive to any metal it comes in contact with. If you are planning on keeping the vehicle a couple of years, you may want to pull the carpet up, look for the drain holes / rubber grommets, and wash the sticky stuff out with clean water.

Go to you local auto parts store and get some brake line. It comes in regular steel or stainless. They come in different sizes (diameters) and even metric, but almost all are 3 feet long with flares and nuts at both ends. They cost approx $5 at the national parts stores for steel. Stainless and metric is a little higher. You can also get straight copper tubing at your hardware store and borrow a flaring tool from the auto parts store. I am assuming that you need a standard automotive flare or double flare for this project. How much pressure will this be holding?

There is still alot of neat things to do for all ages, even if it is just a weekend trip. Almost everything is free, but if you want to see the washington monument or U.S. mint, you have to get there prior to 8:30a and get a ticket for later that same day. The zoo is nice, but you have to ride metrorail or drive to it. The unlimited day pass on metrorail is $7.80. It pays for itself if you ride more than 2 times a day. You can order online and they will be mailed to you. If yoy want to see exotic plants, the botanical garden has everything from rain forest to desert cactus A couple of

It really started in the L.A. (los angeles) county jail in the early 1990s. The look on the street at that time in L.A. was baggy clothes. When the idiots got locked up, their belt was taken while they were in the holding cell waiting to bond out, thus the falling down pants look. It migrated from there to the prison uniforms, for those that stayed in the system. I am not sure where the homosexual connotation of it comes from, because both straight and gays wear the look in prisons around the country when they can get away with it. It is more commonly found in the local county jails
