  1. The basic pump out is between $200 and $250 for most companies in this area. The thing that could run it up are if there is not a clean-out and they have to dig up the lid to the tank and then maybe replace the lid with one with a legal clean-out (the newer systems have a large man hole size clean-out)
  2. Currently, only the Swan and Dolphin Resorts on the Disney property are giving teacher / educator discounts. They also now charge for the segway tours, they were initially free. There are a few different ones you can do, not just the Epcot tour. another good web site : mousesavers.com
  3. The pay is kind of high for an administrative assistant --- more likely an administrative technician job. There is a difference in the federal government...
  4. I thought it was strange that no one seems to notice -- or does not want to get involved. Even the kiosk lady working not 30 feet away. What if it was a small child, or that lady could of hit her head and drowned?
  5. Not really local, but there is a small store in town center mall on the jcpenney wing upstairs that repairs iphones & ipods, etc. free estimates.
  6. Dr. Grant in Douglasville --(Hwy5/publix) is very good. Automated office with updates to your email, in house financing at 0%. Traditional braces, colored braces & invisalign All the little things add up too -- the free chickfila coupons, the free glamour shots pic after the braces removed, etc. (i know they are not really free)
  7. Don't forget those school attendance forms too
  8. The original post was stated it was a Smyrna cop speeding over here in Paulding --- so most of this speculation about going to backup and on a call, etc really does not apply in this case. Unless, his response time is in the 30 minute range....
  9. Another trick at Chatt-Tech is to change your major to BioMed Technology. Students have been doing that for years to be able to take the higher math classes, some medical classes like anatomy, chemistry, and biology under the hope grant.
  10. The original post was about HOPE grant. That only covers diplomas and certificates. When they change their major to an associate degree at their current school or transfer to a 4-year school, they must re-apply for financial aid at the college financial aid office and the FAFSA will stay the same for the current year which ends June 30th. When they re-apply at the local campus office, they will choose HOPE Scholarship on the checklist. The fin aid counselor will evaluate their GPA and attempted hours versus completed hours, etc and see if they qualify for the scholarship (not all do). T
  11. not just criminals, but the illegal aliens and those w/o insurance too... wait, aren't those criminals too ?
  12. Thus the popularity of "spring break" and such. People will do things they wouldn't normally do when out of town.
  13. Some used cars purchased from out of state or from a non-emission county will not pass emissions inspection and take a few days to repair, etc. Other vehicles, for example from an auto auction, may not have a clear title (gov seized/repo) or require title insurance/title bonding which can take a week or 2 also. Another situation is with a vehicle that needs a "salvage" title, you have to make an appointment with the state (a week or 2) and get it inspected, etc. So, my point is not all used cars are ready to get a "permanent" tag, and need a temporary one. That wasn't too far beyond y
  14. I found it was ok, but not really accurate with myself or friends or the neighbor's personal info. The home values were from last year -- too high / higher than the current assessment. One of my neighbors divorced many years ago, and it said he was still married, another neighbor died in 2008, and it still shows him living there. It also said i have been at this address for 3 years, when i have been here since 1988.... Good if you want the address or phone # of someone, but the rest of the personal info is only somewhat close.
  15. don't get out much do ya ? google "DancingBear" and see the kind of stuff really goes on at those bachelorette parties. Of course, i realize only the "best" shows are sold on dvd, but your opinion does seem to be missing something.
  16. That is one of the problems with the digital channels/signals, either it works completely or it doesn't at all, there is no grainy or snowy picture. Different TVs will pickup weaker signals than others. Some of the larger TVs have a signal strength meter that you can see while setting it up / finding the channels. Are you picking up any stations at all? Public broadcasting stations are in carrollton and rome, etc as well as atlanta, so you can see if you can pick up something in a different direction. --- here is a link to the area as well as the channel number to look for: www.gpb.org
  17. All are valid points. I know we don't have all the facts in this case, but some questions that come to my mind are: Was she mature enough to "consent" / was she a "victim" of a crime? When is someone an adult? -- age 18 when you can vote? 21 when you can drink? In some criminal cases they are charged at 13 as an adult. My point is there is a psychological age for someone to make decisions as an adult, there is a legal age for an adult, etc. Weren't 14 year-olds getting married pretty common in the south about 100 years ago?
  18. School bus video camera caught 2 boys (age 17) engaged in a sex act with a teen girl (age 15) in Newton County. I am not saying that what they did was right, but to charge them with child molestation? Teens Arrested In School Bus Sex Act http://www.wsbtv.com/news/26182445/detail.html
  19. Hey, fraud is fraud no matter if you are a regular citizen or "protected" by the teacher union. Since there was a financial benefit (keeping their job / getting a raise if the scores increased), probation (at least) is in order. These teachers are licensed and in a "trusted" position, maybe the preachers are there to help with their "ethics" (lack of) issues. The same standardized test cheating issues came up in the chicago school system back in 1996, and they fired the teachers and administrators involved, no criminal charges though.
  20. I know it is smaller than you were looking for, but Office Depot has an LG 23" 1080p LCD for $219 thru sunday. Amazon has a 26" Viewsonic LCD 1080p for $244 (free shipping and no tax) also expires this weekend. Both are good brands and have good feedback ratings.
  21. - Psychologically speaking, sexual predators that plan these types of deviate behaviors and assaults often look for the easy prey/victims, which could explain why he was able to get away with it many times. - In post-conviction interviews, these criminals will often say they can tell which females to assault & which ones would probably put up a fight. -
  22. - - we bake it upside down the first hour, then flip it over --- really keeps it juicy. - -
  23. Well then, you are talking about something completely different than the original post. When it comes to football players / scholarships, etc. Then the rules change for such items as cheating, under age drinking, theft, & sex scandals, etc
