  2. From the title of the thread I am guessing you mean to ask if we live near the alleged perv? Can you be more specific? New Hope? East Paulding? Twelve Oaks Subdivision? M------ Court? NO, I do not live there. Give the justice system time to work and you'll should see a new red push pin pop up in that general area on the local sex offender map. If we're lucky he'll move elsewhere.
  3. I used to feel that way too, UNTIL I WENT! There is nothing like standing there when they blast past you at 200+mph and you feel the sand blast off the pavement. It's a rush! It looks so slow and boring going around in circles on TV you don't realize they are scooting! Not something I want to do everyday (redneckedness overload), but hey I had fun! I'm also a drag race/funny car card carrying NERD. I have an autographed piston for a paperweight from my cousin, Ron Capps! But if you met me in person, you'd a never thunk it. So I just outted myself. Rain delay is a real possibility.
  4. The girls from the Cheatham Hill Park episode said the red truck was an older dinged up dualie, not an S-10. Not sure why the news isn't reporting that part of the description.
  5. This is the creep I was talking about last Wednesday. On WSB2 WSB2 Report
  6. Wednesday afternoon my daughter's friend was jogging with a friend through Cheatam Hill National Park over off Dallas Hwy/Whitlock when they approached a man leaning up on a tree with his pants down yerking his jergen. He turned to face them to "show it" and they screamed at him! He took off running and they chased him all the way to the parking lot where he jumped in, you guessed it, a dinged up older model red pick up truck, only this was a dualie, not a smaller red truck. Guy was in his 20's about 5' 10" with medium brown hair, white/possibly part hispanic. The girls unfortunately did
  7. Brace and you will only feel a "slight" pinch...
  8. Disturbing day to say the least! I was doing some spring cleaning this afternoon when I heard my dog barking to alert that someone was here. I looked out the front window to see a minivan stopped across the street. I watched as a woman exited the driver door and went to the rear passenger side only to commence a windmill style flailing attack on a small child seated in the rear passenger seat. Don't get me wrong, I've raised three kids and I know sometimes some one has a bad day attitude and for whatever reason doesn't want to put their seat belt on or join the program. This was not, you put y
  9. My heart breaks for this family. Sending love and light. Prayers each and every day.
  10. 40 mins ago "Stacy: Nothing new to report. Tripp is still sleeping and unresponsive. We have had all the drs in today. Neuro, infectious disease, GI, rehab, etc, Everyone is puzzled. We are running more tests, changing a few meds and getting 2nd opinions. Thank you for all your prayers. Keep praying we can figure out what is wrong. He has survived when all the odds were against him and he's got that stubborn Hughes blood in him from me and my dad so he is going to kick this setback too!!" Praying for this sweet child.
  11. It could have just been some muble thumbed bone head scolling their facebook page on an iphone and they reported the post vs. deleted the post. It happens. Alot of folks are technically challenged.... I hate it for the family.
  12. Congratulations! And Happy Anniversary! The hubster and I have also been married 30 years since this past June 2012.
  13. I saw Officer Tanner pulling into the school early this morning around 7:10 and thought to myself, he sure is early today. Now I know why. Sooo glad dear daughter got on a bus at 6 a.m. this morning to travel with East Paulding ROTC on her way to Washington DC for Nationals and got to miss all the drama. Glad everyone is OK.
  14. I don't know about a perscription, but doctors do prescribe medical marijuana for a host of ailments, way more than cancer or glaucoma. Stress is a legitimate reason for a PRESCRIPTION. Anyway, what business is it for anyone to ask another grown adult how they live their life and what they see the doctor for?
  15. It's a red light challenge. You can use a street shout out!
  16. And someone would have to sell/take tickets, and don't forget the popcorn. Have to have popcorn!
  17. Contact Mr. Dis! He moonlights doing lawns and trimming hedges. Does nice work!
  18. Has she obtained the information for the mortgage company's attorney? Check the legal publications in the Dallas New Era for the homeowner's NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE from Mortgage Company if it's a Paulding County Property. Tell her to be proactive and contact the Attorney for the mortgage company directly. Mortgage companies will often work with tenants to keep someone in the home and generating payments.
  19. I hope the fur baby finds her way home soon.
  20. PSA *** this just in *** Aja (pronounced Asia), the place where Emeril Lagasse's pad used to be on Lenox Rd. has a special going for a $5.00 spicey asian noodle bowl that contains chicken, all the greens, onions, an herbie spiced miso broth with a boiled egg served in a bowl as large as most adult human heads for $5, seven days a week. Dine in only. It's delicious and an awesome fix for most of all the croup and lingering congestion going round. That is all.
  21. Haters gonna hate. Idiots gonna make out of context comments.... Anyhew... That stinks they made off with your stuff. Hope you fire up a lectrified fence or hire yourself an Uncle Si and set him up on perimeter surveillance with a barrel of ice tea and a hair trigger finger "jack!"!
  22. MY EYES!!!!!! Yeah, ↑ this guy. Creepier every time I see him. Him and most any food item from the offal family.
