I am with you Michael. It is a new age with new parameters that parents need to be ever vigilant over. I only have one of three at home now, but we are FB friends. I am forever paranoid but happy that she loves and trusts me enough to tackle the teenage "big issues". I sleep well... for the most part...

+ 1,000,000!!! Unfortunately, this is one of many pointless topics. . . . Someone needs to put down the cool aid!

My mother used to slow cook in the oven and crock pot back in the day, so when she got off work dinner was all ready to go. April Fools day she had a "roast" with potatoes slow cooking. All the seasonings, smelled delicious. For desert a Chocolate cake. She called home and asked us kids to go ahead and get the table set and pull the roast out. Put the cake on the table, etc. The "roast" was a pan full of potatoe shaped rocks, seasoning and beef broth to make that yummy smell, and for added measure, some dirty black socks. The cake, was a chocolate frosted cake pan. Que to my older

Congratulations to her! And to proud Momma! When dear son#1 graduated college the invitations were ordered through a service solicited through the college. The invites had the college seal on them. Ask your daughter. She should have received an info package or student email re: graduation invites.

I feel for you. My daughter is 17 now, and much much better. At 15 she got the smart mouth, know it all attitude and we promptly took away the cell phone, the t.v. and I had a "come to Jesus" meeting with her. She straightened right up. Hang in there!!

Boric Acid, aka roach powder. About $3 at your hardware store. Pet/kid friendly. Dust the perimeter of you house. It dehydrates their exoskeleton, along with that of many other creepy crawlers.

I hope you never have to have any surgery. But God forbid, if so, Do NOT get the robotic oophorectomy!!! They claim it is less invasive, etc. Laproscopic is WAY less painful. Speaking from 1st hand experiece. The robotic surgery kicked my tail. I felt like a roto rooter had been through my abdominal cavity. Having had 3 laproscopic procedures for adhesions prior, I can say, laproscopic is the way to go. Less pain, less down time. Good luck!

My natural father passed from Pancreatic Cancer back in 2003. Prior to his passing we had him in trial chemo via Johns Hopkins. My brothers and I are on the familial registry at Johns Hopkins Pancreatic Cancer Treatment Center. They are still tweaking the genetic testing, but soon, there will be a test to determine if we carry the pancreatic cancer causing gene. Very close, not there yet. If we test positive for the gene, the prevention would be to have the whipple procedure, removal and rerouting of the head of the pancreas. I hope to hear the testing is approved sooner rather than later...

Sending you a p.m.!

Actually, I have worked both Plaintiff and Defense. I enjoyed Defense work because it was part of my job to out the big fatty fakers and put it on a silver platter for my Attorney to slam dunk them. Insurance carriers spend big bucks doing just that. I do prefer Plaintiff's work as I have always had the pleasure of working with honest decent hard working attorneys who wouldn't take a fatty faker or should they ever discover their client was faking, they'd drop em like a hot rock and quick. It feels good to get justice for innocent victims with all the cynics and fatty fakers in the world today

You are drinking the kool aid. Jurors now days are educated and concerned consumers and they vote accordingly. The big fatty fakers are fewer and farther between, THANK GOD. Everyone loves to out a faker, jurors especially. And now days after outing them accordingly Defense counsel can come after the fakers to recoup costs for frivilous litigation and rightly so! Wonder if your "opinion" on this would change if you were the one hurt/disabled/permanently physically impaired by someone elses negligence and forced to put your fate in the hands of 12 strangers to do right by you. Would yours

Risk Management for Kroger makes the Store Manager isolate any/all recordings IMMEDIATELY after any injuries are reported in a Kroger store. This practice if followed would null and void any spoiliation of evidence issue regarding video. Not only did Kroger's counsel say there wasn't video, they claimed the cameras didn't even show the area where the man was injured. After having said that, later on in the litigation Lloyd Bell took the store manager's deposition at the store. He asked the manager to show him the cameras. The camera was focused directly where the man was injured, Defense coun

And ended up with over $135,000 in medical bills with pins and rods inserted into his back unable to return to his job as a commercial landscaper. Kroger's attorneys LIED and they got busted out by Lloyd Bell. They hid video of the incident and outright LIED and this verdict is the Jury's message to LYING LAWYERS. I hope the State Bar looks into Kroger's Defense counsel's conduct in this matter! Kudos Lloyd Bell!!! I worked with Lloyd. He's a former Marine JAG Officer, a fine gentlemen and an even better trial lawyer!

It is my understanding the plane was trying to make an emergency landing in the storm on 381 heading towards crossroads, right at Old WC Abney Elementary, on left, and where Publix is now on right. The plane broke into pieces into the trees in the back of the playground at the school. One stewardess was able to jump out onto the road just at/or before impact.(She lived and wrote a tell all book). Parts of the plane crashed into the gas pumps at the little store on the left just past the school on 381. The pumps burst into flames. Innocent men, women and kids on the ground died. There was an el

The "rating system" is WHACK! I can only give positives, it will not allow me to give negatives telling me I've reached my quota when I haven't logged in or rated for days/weeks. It's rigged!!!
