My brother has never had a blood transfusion. And he's been a blood donor. He is undergoing weekly interferon treatments now. They put him down for 2-3 days. Just long enough to recover for another round the next week. Two months left to go! My Mother got Hep. B from a blood transfusion in 1986, just before the Aids epidemic. She knew instantly she was sick. She swelled up and turned yellow immediately following the transfusion. She fought it hard, but passed from Hep. B in 1991.

My oldest brother was just diagnosed with Hep C at age 57. He never did IV drugs or anything that would lead him to believe he ever had an exposure. He is now undergoing a 6 month course of chemotherapy to rid his body of the hep c. It's very, very hard on him.

I had my cornea shaved for a biopsy of a corneal ulcer I.E., insert head into ophthalmolgy head gear holding head in place, open eyes, razor device lowers and shaves off a peel/strip of my cornea, with no anesthesia, twice! Scary, but painless.

We went at 7 pm last night. I am sooo happy to have a new place to eat so close to home! I want this to be a good experience!!! We were told 20 minute wait. My oldest has his four year degree in Biology and molecular science, he graduated in May 2010. By December he had his MASTERS in Cell/Molecular Biology.
