  1. Do you have experience with TENS? My old chiropractor had some sort of stimulation machine in his office. I didnt use it because I was pregnant, but was always curious.
  2. Thank you! It is so horrible, starting with disrupted sleep. He cannot get a good nights sleep, ever. He is always tired and lethargic because of it. I think a chiropractor may help, too. I had never thought of that either.

You are right about that! I smoked for a few years, then quit when I got pregnant with my first child. I didnt smoke until my second child was about a year old. So, yes, I had quit for a few years. My life was a trainwreck. I had a small business, worked a full time job, was splitting from my childrens dad, and my 1 year old had kidney surgery. All in the same year. I remember the moment I first smoked again, just like it was yesterday. I kick myself everyday for it, now. Congrats to everyone who has quit, or is still in the process. You have my full support, and I will be joining
  4. Thank you! Well, Russell, I hope your day is great!!!!!
  5. I am a chicken!!Its the looking down part that would get to me. I almost went skydiving a few years back, but for reasons beyond my control, I didnt do it. I was ready though, only because I knew once I was pushed out of the plane, it was beyond my control. Maybe someday, when my kids are raised........ Thats right!!! Its funny just how much that floor will do for you!
  6. I would be far more likely to use a business on Pcom, than one on a small sign that doesnt even give a business name. "Clean House 4 Rooms $xx per room!" really doesnt give me that cozy feeling enough that I would EVER allow them in my home. The gas it takes to drop signs off, then pick them all up, would cost far more than a Pcom Commerce Membership I dont read the signs, and if I need to find a service that ISNT on Pcom, I will google it, then look at the map for directions. Maybe 6 small businesses (non-competetors) can share a billboard, reducing the cost ETA: I dont EVER r
  7. Happy Birthday Russell! Wait a minute, who is Russell?
  8. You wouldnt want me flying over your house....I would be peeing the entire time!!! (And that would be the BEST case scenerio)
  9. They have signs on 278 alerting people that they are having a training exercise. There was a Paulding County Emergency trailer at the airport and a row of cars this morning. I would like to watch it. But it wont be me asking "whats going on"....
  10. I REALLY REALLY REALLY enjoyed the sun this morning heading from Dallas to Hiram at about 7:30. The colors were so beautiful...I almost thought I was in paradise for a minute there!
  11. And ignorance isnt bliss..... But, there have been experiments that show people who read a lot of negative news, really can have more problems such as anxiety. Maybe it helps people to post and talk about it. This particular story sickens me to the core of my being. And thats all I have to say.
  12. I agree. This child is too young to know the full extent of what was done or what was happening at the time. There is a line drawn at 18 years old for a reason. If 2 children were left alone, one was 8 and one was 6...is the 8 year old responsible for everything that happens during this time frame? It is up to the adults, and obviously, there were 2 children left alone that shouldnt have been. I'm not saying that an 11 year old that will brutally beat a baby is psychologically correct, or innocent, but they are hardly guilty of murder.
  13. If she does do it, please let us know how it worked out. My boyfriend is diabetic, and has neuropathy. It irritates the heck out of him. Good luck, and I hope she finds relief!!
  14. I am leaning toward 11 being too young. But, a lot of it depends on if they are watching a sibling. An 11 year old, who has been around a 3 or 4 year old since they were born, is going to be far more capable of knowing the child and what it takes to watch them. It also depends on the individual child and maturity level. Even at my age, and in the process of raising children, I find it difficult to know someone elses child. I know I can keep them safe, but you still never know what they may do. My children never got into anything they werent supposed to. Other kids do it all the time. S
  15. I believe I saw him in front of the old Sonnys. We were there buying watermelons a while back, and saw him down by the road. That was the first and only time I have seen him.
  16. But, they should be trained to stay on your property even if they get out. My sister is an animal lover, and spends so much time with her dogs. But, if her pitbull gets out, she runs. She is the sweetest dog in the world inside the house, but given the chance to run, she will be on the hunt. Is this natural for pit bulls to want to run? Some breeds are probably more trainable than others. Border Collies by nature herd. There IS a biological difference in breeds including pit bulls. Training helps, of course, but isnt a sure thing. Take someone who loves their baby, trains them, and tr
  17. I would assume it needs to be rebalanced. I had new tires put on Friday. My car would shake at about 55mph, so my boyfriend brought it back today to have them rebalance it. I guess its better now. Dont let them charge you for it, you already paid for it once! The alignment would make it veer to one side or the other if you let go of the steering wheel. If you didnt have it aligned when you got your tires, you should. If not, they can wear faster/more uneven, causing you to have to buy more sooner.
  18. Possibly, but I usually dont see anything "live". I have a very short attention span, and if I dont have a pause button, I end up missing half the show. I will be watching House live though because I'm not sure it goes on demand.
  19. Thanks! All kidding aside, I feel so much better after reducing my caffeine. I used to be so on edge....but not enough to kill somoene.
  20. DONT YOU DARE!!!! He is the one that recommended less caffeine...
  21. Me too! Plus Sons of Anarchy, and possibly "The Event". How in the world will I get any sleep?? I usually watch them "on demand" because I cant ever dedicate myself to a schedule!
  22. Thanks! I didnt know House was back on tonight!
  23. I just cut back on my caffeine, but seriously thinking about starting again....and saving all my receipts as evidence.
  24. Sounds good....you just need to add forced birth control to the rules. As far as the county wasting their time and money on this man, does anyone really know how dangerous he was? If I lived in that area, I think I would be thankful that he wasnt hanging around in my backyard. Maybe they should have done something to get him down quicker, but they are the proffessionals, not me.
  25. I agree...and if I spent my free time in the evening catching up with my family living elsewhere, I would be ignoring my family living in my own house. As a dispatcher on call, I have spent a lot of my life on the phone, and prefer to set it down when possible.
