I'm amazed at how adept some people are at changing the subject when the OP doesn't suit their ideological stance. Saul would be very impressed. Back to the subject, unemployment has gone south with the private sector producing a paltry 83,000 jobs in May and the long term unemployed now half of the unemployed population. The ISM Manufacturing report also took it's steepest dive since 1984.

Paulding still in running for future commercial

I seriously doubt that any of us will be around if and when Atlanta gets another airport. Like Steven pointed out, Hartsfield has numerous expansion options that will take it decades into the future even at current growth estimates. Also estimates of growth have not been updated since the last census, and it is very likely that Southwest Airlines general dislike of hubs will slow growth tremendously over the next few years. Personally, I see other population centers taking a more prominent position in the southeast, like Charlotte and Chattanooga. I also very much doubt that Paulding wou -
My tastes have morphed a bit with the change in county and rock. I now gravitate to what is now described as Americana, which encompasses folk, blues based country, alt-country, honkey tonk, newgrass, Texas singer-songwriter (Prine, Van Zandt, Lovett, Keen,...), and country rock. A lot of very good performers and songwriters gravitate there because of the "machine" in Nashville that usually requires a pretty face and a million dollar stage show. Performers like Dylan, Bob Willis, Cash, Perkins, Owens, and even Hank himself would probably have landed in Americana had they come along in this d

Mattie's Call issued for elderly Powder Springs woman with dementia. Be on the lookout for an elderly black female 5'-7", 170 lbs with grey hair. She was last seen Saturday night at her home In the Defore's Farm Subdivision off of Hill Road between the intersections of Cleburne Parkway (AKA County Line Rd.) and Hiram Lithia Springs Rd. She has dementia and other health problems.

Well at least traffic should get better with the decrease in population.

Good point.

So I guess that God adopted our terrestrial concept of time zones then.

I was recently in a drug study. The manufacturer is producing the study medication here in the US in a small laboratory, is conducting the entire stage 3 study here in the US, but intends to manufacture it in Europe precisely for the reasons SurePip mentioned. It is questionable if they will even sell it here without tort reform. You should have seen the forms I had to sign to get it. The Doctor said that these were the most detailed releases he had ever seen. They basically assumed strict liability for extended medical care should something occur, but ruled out punitive or other damages.

* * * Arrest @ East Paulding High this afternoon **

I'm so glad that your daughter is OK. I know she must have been terrified. Unfortunately, one of the symptoms of schizophrenia, often accompanied by paranoia, is the belief that one is not ill and that the medications are controlling their thoughts, or that the caregivers are engaged in an active plot to harm them. It is very common for these folks to go off of their meds even in a supervised medical setting. I hope that your daughter recovers and that this guy gets the help that he needs. -
Hey, don't forget that we are currently switching to the federally mandated "summer blend" gas which adds about 10 cents per gallon and slightly reduces your mileage.

There is no gas shortage. There is no crude oil shortage. Worldwide inventories are currently substantially above historical norms in spite of conflict in Africa and growth in China.

I have yet to see a current candidate that meets those qualifications except for perhaps Herman Cain, and he lacks political experience and name recognition. Unfortunately for the American people, those two things are necessary to win. I see things getting a whole lot brighter in 2016 if Obama wins in 2012. By then there should be a good crop of younger candidates that are not part of the 1994 gang. I think we will see the party change significantly in the next four years as people like Ryan and other post-contract Republicans take the party back to true fiscal conservatism. With the ex

Of course you do. I'll bet you would rather see Mickey Mouse though, since he would be even easier for your guy to beat. God forbid the Republicans should run a candidate with knowledge and integrity. A candidate mike that might just beat Barry.

He's just above Trump on my list. Oh, by the way, that doesn't place him anywhere near the top.

U.S. Committment to clean cooking stoves in developing countries
lotstodo replied to onekidmom's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Global Social Democracy. The goal of "climate change" hysteria is the transfer of wealth from North America and Europe to Africa and Asia. Every climate treaty summit, and I mean every, boils down to how much the west is going to pay the "developing" <cough> world to play the clean game. It's not about the environment, it's about money. -
US Dollar Index Good yes, but one week does not a trend make. Oil prices are volatile. It's all the way "up" to where it was a couple of weeks ago. Now it just needs to do that for 10 more years.

In theory at least, all learning builds upon knowledge gained in past courses. This means that theoretically, a student's understanding and performance will decline immediately when they "forget" or fail to comprehend something from the past that they need today. I would agree with you if that student was caught in time and given the necessary tool before they moved on. If not, the problem is compounded until they are incapable of passing a graduation test that by all descriptions is extremely easy for a student that actually learned the material. The fact remains that when that student g

We have a V-6 Mazda 6 right now that is approaching 200,000 miles, and we may look at the new Ford Focus, the Mazda 3, and the Hyundai Elantra.
