INSANE

I mean really, it took someone this long to figure out August is one of the hottest months in Georgia. It costs so much to keep the schools cooler and there is no a/c on the busses. Quite honestly I can't believe it took this long!

I think the bus drivers risk their lives and the kids driving around here everyday. Do you realize Paulding county is one of the busiest counties in the state for accidents? Like a poster said before, driving on days where the rain is so torrential is just as dangerous. I too, ride these roads everyday and see it first hand.

You have no idea what I do for a living! How do you know I'm not a bus driver? The kids got home safely, bottom line!!! It does not matter what decision was made someone would have complained!!!

Even though their security guards wouldn't they be protected by some sort of good samaritan law?

For parents of drivers you could have checked your students out at noon, had them counted as a full day and problem would have been solved!

Everyone got home safe so I don't think it really matters!

I did two of my kids electronically and they had their state in within 5 days and their federal within 8 days. The state came first though!

This is why I stayed home and raised my children. We didn't have a lot and went without a lot but it was well worth it to know what was going on.

I have two done with college and living at home. They have to pay so much a month which is put away and will be given to them when they move out. They need to learn responsibility and will be quite surprised when they move out on their own and have money to take with them. I never had to pay my parents but I wanted mine to learn responsibility early.

Again people it's alleged! Why don't we wait to pass judgment until there is an outcome. How many times have accused been innocent??? ! What's sad is a kid could get pi**ed off at a teacher and say anything. It then falls on the teacher to prove innocence. I wasn't going to reply to this but decided I will. First, I NEVER was surprised about paved roads and electricity. Hello, we live in what century? I was born and raised up north. I can honestly tell you people where I grew up welcomed southerners into our community. I loved the accent but there were no other differences I could tell. I think more people voted Redneck being worse is because more people answering this are from the south. I don't think anyone from up north likes being referred to as a Yankee. Let me clarify that, everytime I've been referred to as that it wasn't meant in a nice playful way. If you travel outside the US to any other country you are considered a Yankee. I have a good friend who had squamus cell carcinoma (not sure if that's spelled correctly) from laying in the sun for many years. It tore her face up and she has scars to show from it.
