I posted this in my last post. I'm trying to be nice! I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree on this. I have my views and you have yours. Have a good day!!!

There are circumstances where you can get out and death of a spouse would be one of them. I've seen it happen! She has family to take care of this child. She does not want to go and you no that's her choice. The problem is she's going to have to deal with the circumstances. Please don't put words in my mouth. I would not want to see my children put in foster care. Do you have any military experience. I've lived on military bases for 35 years and have seen a lot. I've also seen many excuses especially when my husband became a CO. I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree on

Exactly, and the men too. You can't be sexist in this day and age!!!

So did I. That's why when my husband went into the military I chose not too. One of us would have to be able to stay home with the kids. You can't compare a normal job with that of the military. They are committed in a way we are not! They know they HAVE to deploy. The know if they're single parents they HAVE to deploy. They can leave the child with family. She wasn't complaining the whole time she was collecting a paycheck and living free in housing. It's usually not until deployments that people start complaining. I'm sorry, if you enlist in the military they tell you upfront wh

If every single military parent did this we would probably have half the military force we have now. She made a committment, she knew the consequences and she CHOSE what course to take. I know this sounds harsh but after being around the military for many, many years and seeing others have to pull the weight I do not feel bad at all!

It's a great place! I've been going there since it opened.

My hubby thinks it was 500 something but can't remember. I'd have to find the paperwork to give you an exact. I think it was closer to 600 but I'm not sure.

I saw them 1/2 way down Bakers Bridge Road today when I was heading towards Douglasville. They are out there! -
We had such a mild summer we knew we'd get slammed this winter. I think the best is yet to come.

I like the idea! It seems most only do this during the day while the rest of us have to work. I think it would be great if it could be done after work or on the weekends! -
The children ranged from 10 to 17. How the heck can a 10 year old know what he wants??? That tattoo will be with him/her for the rest of his/her life. I think it was definitely a case of child abuse as far as tattooing someone that young. There's a big difference between a 10 year old knowing what he wants and a 17 year old. What the he** is wrong with parents???

My house is brand new and does this too. It comes out warm and then gets cooler before it shuts off. Every since I've had this type of heat it's always been this way. It seems in colder climates with oil heat and other types the air stays warm until it shuts off. I replace my filters every 30 days rather they need it or not!

What does the X means in Christmas: Happy X-Mas Day The word "Christmas" means "Mass of Christ," later shortened to "Christ-Mass." The even shorter form "Xmas" - first used in Europe in the 1500s - is derived from the Greek alphabet, in which X is the first letter of Christ's name: Xristos, therefore " X-Mass." About the X Europeans in the 16th century started using X in place of Christ's name as shorthand for writing Christ. The Christian monks and scholars were knowledgeable of the Greek letter X, - Chi or Khi - which is the first letter in the Greek word "Christos" or "Kristos" (Gre

They were robbed at gunpoint last night! Pretty scary to think this is happening in our own backyards. What is it going to take for us to take back our neighborhoods???

Many years ago we went away for our 15th anniversary and there was an elderly couple across from us at the hotel restaurant. They were the cutest old couple, holding hands and chatting. We paid for their dinner and left. The next morning we went down for breakfast and we saw them again. We were waiting for our bill and the waitress told us the old couple had paid for ours. They left a message for us as well. They said, "You can't fool and old goat." I wondered why they winked when they walked by us.

New towels or sheets are always good. After a year it's always nice to get new towels. It's those things you love to get but hate to spend the money buying them for yourself.

That is hysterical!

You don't have to. The juice goes to the bottom of the bag and kind of bubbles/boils up and I'm not sure what it does or how but I have never had a dry turkey. I bought one about 7 years ago and that's how I've cooked my turkeys since. If you haven't cooked one in a bag before just make sure you put a tbsp or flour in and it shake it. Once you put the turkey in you need to put approx. 6 1" slits in the top and then tie the bag. My mouth is watering just thinking of it. My Thanksgiving turkey is long gone.
-
I would look at it and if the legs are starting to pull away it should be done. Just make sure once you put it in the bag you put it in a strong pan. It will boil in the juice and it keeps it very moist. When I did mine for Thanksgiving it was done by the first time but mine was thawed. If it's a bit frozen it will take a bit longer.
-
It's the only way I cook a turkey now; it leaves it moist and delicious. The times have always been the same when I've used them.
