Good point. And what 8f it's on a Sunday? You stay out of this, buster, unless you want a black eye.

The Strengths Of P.com Overwhelms Its Weaknesses By A Long Shot

I don't know about greatest web site in the country (that is some pretty big ground to cover...I think pcom might lose out to Pinterest if you held a gun to my head), but I agree with you otherwise. My favorite thing about being here is that we all get to express our opinions (even us eeeeevvvvvviiiillll libertarian conservatives). I do not take that lightly. Pubby knows that he is on my list of favorite people because of his foresight in starting pcom and in having a laissez-faire attitude about moderation, and also for being an old-school journalist. Oh, all so for loving on his son so b -
You left out that it's pronounced "KAYro".

Squeeeeeeee!!!

Hey, now!!! :givingyouthestinkeye:

Gotcha. And you are correct...gun-free zones are nice places for somebody looking to do some damage.
-
I completely agree; however, why couldn't this dude just hidden his weapons beneath an overcoat, badged in as usual and then started his spree?
-
Oh, gotcha. Yeah, here we pretty much use the address to signify (Ridge Road Kroger, Crossroads Kroger, etc.). I will say the Hiram Wal-Mart is a Very Scary Place. I wouldn't venture there, esp. on a weekend night. :shudder:

I'm looking at a neat idea but want to get feedback first

BTW, Subby, you must use the moniker "Machine Whisperer" if it's available. You don't even have to pay me any royalties. -
Welcome! But what is this huge grocery store that has you amazed? PS - you keep using that word...I don't think it means what you think it means.

I should think Allied Barton ' s unarmed policy was at the direction of FedEx as Zorro stated and that the employee theft aspect is the central g9al, as Mrs JR stated. I should also think this kid won't have to worry about medical bills and furthermore, if what I read about a fellow employee reporting this guy for bad behavior is true, FedEx will be happy if they don't have some mondo negligence lawsuits from this mess.

YouTube is a great idea! I have learned about everything from crochet stitches to how to close and open a pool with YouTube videos. And you could see what others are doing re: advertising, etc. Great idea, satellite! -
Unarmed security guards is an oxymoron. I noted that FedEx had increased security at its facilities today. Which begs the question of are they armed? Nothin' like closing the barn door after the horse is out...

Oklahoma botches execution with untested drug cocktail
mei lan replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
In theory, I am a proponent of the death penalty. However, in our system where it takes 30 years to carry it out and the methods are doubtful and some innocents are mistakenly executed, I don't think it's a good thing. In this situation, however, my give-a-damn's completely busted. -

This would be a great idea in 1950 when repairs were costly and people worked on their own machines. (Of course then there'd be the absence of computers and the interwebz. ) Unfortunately, I don't think it'd get much traction.
