Disclaimer: I am an evangelical Christian. I don't particularly care for the Duggars but if it works for them, fine. He apparently earns legitimate money and supports the family without assistance. That said, Jim Bob has always creeped me totally out. And I can't really explain why, which is even worse to me. (Ditto Elizabeth Smart's father, btw.) Speculation is these girls were relatives...even sisters, perhaps. What is beyond creepy is that it would be allowed to continue unaddressed, no matter who the girls were.
