I'm so excited - you're finally opening!! I would love to try your coconut cake and sweet potato pie (if you're going to have pies). These are things I'm definitely having on Thanksgiving so it would be great to try them out and go ahead and put my T'giving order in. Also, have cupcakes - the princess LOVES cupcakes and if she comes in with me, I'm going to have to get her one!! -
Edited to read....Tell it! and get it off your mind! ;)

In all honesty, I'm not sure what we're doing this year. The only thing I've done so far is buy our Christmas cards. I still need to schedule a date with a photographer for our annual family photo and then sit down and decide what we're giving as gifts this year and how much we're spending. I have a pretty good idea of what I want to get for the princess for Christmas, but I don't have a clue about what I'm going to get the hubby - if there's something he wants, he usually goes out and gets it. As for the extended family - I'm not sure yet. We usually buy something for the little ones if -

PLEASE HELP SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT TODAYS FREE FOOD GIVEAWAY
LisaC replied to LPPT's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I didn't find out about this until earlier this week. When I've heard about them in the past, I've given the info to my hubby and he shares it with families that come to our church's food ministry. I need to do a better job of keeping up with this information and passing it on. Unfortunately, by the time the food ministry at Fortified Hills starts tonight, the give-away will be over. -
It's a family recipe handed down from my mother.... I've been making it for years!!

I just knew I would get a laugh as soon as I saw a topic called "Today in Wally World." Glad you had your sense of humor with you, CC.

The bill should go to whomever is responsible for the payment of the medical bills for the child. If your hubby agreed (or was ordered) to provide medical insurance and pay for the child's medical expenses, then the mother and Scottish Rite did the right thing. But, if they are to be split, then you should pay your part and let the mother know what her part of the bill is. Scottish Rite most likely isn't going to bill more than one person for the medical expenses insurance doesn't cover - they are going to rely on the parents to get the bill and work out the details.

Don't get discouraged. You need to figure out which style you prefer in your home - contemporary, traditional, Asian, etc. Then think about some of your family and friends' houses that you have visited that you liked. What did they have in them that you liked? What paint colors did they use on the walls? Seriously, painting a room a color besides white really makes a difference. And, for decorating, go to places like Pier 1 and Kirklands to get ideas of things you want to use in your house. Both have great things and have really good sales. And, if all else fails, look at magazines lik

Costumes are welcome, but the princess isn't wearing hers tonight - since there will be bouncing things and lots of activities, I don't want to have to worry about it getting dirty before Saturday night.

I wonder if someone with Photoshop could clean it up a bit for you?

The ones that are flying down the interstate going at least 100 mph and zipping in and out of traffic. I just know that one day, I'm going to catch up with one of them when they end up plastered all over the road.....

Prayers to you and your family, SS.

The healthcare reimbursement account is a big risk, especially if you have kids or have the possibility of getting pregnant. To me, it's just not worth the risk. But, if you are considering it, take the time to check out what out of pocket costs will be for you and your family. I will tell you that I was sent to the ER at Kennestone by my doctor when I had pneumonia/flu/UTI and my EOB shows that the cost of that visit alone was almost $10,000 because they did x-rays and ran some other tests. We're on a POS plan, so that visit only cost me $100 out of pocket.
