  1. Nope, I am here as well. Group night is always uncomfortable to watch!
  2. I second or third Cymbalta. I have fibro and RLS and the Cymbalta has been a miracle worker for me.
  3. I have seen this movie and it is wonderful. Anyone who deals with Tourette's or has a loved one who deals with it should take the time to watch this movie. It is really good!
  4. HUGE, HUGE Colts fans here. Peyton is my hero....I love Tennessee and was there at the same time as Peyton. Such a great guy and HOLY COW he can play some football. GO COLTS!
  5. Hi Night owls...watching Burn Notice on the DVR. Hate it when I cannot sleep!
  6. I agree with above poster, find a new Dr. I see Dr. Goolsby at East Paulding Well Star. I used to go to a pain management clinic for my fibro...but it was a pain in the butt. Once we figured out what worked, I stopped going to them and went back to Dr. Goolsby. He writes the scripts for what I need for the fibro, including pain meds at times. No reason your Dr. cannot do this. Good luck.
  7. Lane Kiffin is a jacka**. I am a HUGE Vols fan and I bleed orange....too bad he just set the Vols back by about five years....my grandad just called me from Knoxville and said he could hear Fulmer laughing all the way across town. The players and students are PO'ed on campus right now.
  8. Actually that is the prescription from my Dr. I use Omeprozole to coat my stomach and keep ulcers from happening. It works well and the ibuprofen does a great job keeping me off pain killers.
  9. Calls have not come out yet. Transportation guy is driving the county right now trying to check back roads, etc. in order to see if buses can run. Hopefully a decision will come soon.
  10. BBQ chicken made in the crock-pot, roasted potatoes, and some veggies.
  11. No biggy, I know I forget that sometimes myself. :)My kids are praying for another day out...me, on the other hand, really want them in school!
  12. My road is still frozen over, no sunshine on it. I am also thinking about up on Braswell Mt. area, etc. where it is likely not melted. Just remember that even if your area is clear, there may be other areas that are not. The buses have to be able to run their complete routes or it is a no go.
  13. I hate that it is so bad for you right now. I am pretty lucky to be functional, but I think it comes to the Cymbalta and LOTS of Ibuprofen each day (2400mg per day)! If you ever need to talk or vent, feel free to Pm me or give me a call...I know sometimes it is hard for others to understand!
  14. Fibro is a diagnosis by exclusion. In other words, the doctor tests for most anything it could be...MS, Lupus, etc.etc. and if all of those tests return normal, then a diagnosis of fibro is made. If you look online, the mayoclinic.com has some awesome information on fibro and chronic fatigue syndrome. They do typically go hand in hand with one another although they are seperate diagnosis'. Honestly to me....it comes down to I feel like I have the flu ALL THE TIME. Some days it is a lighter version of the flu, but my body aches like I have the flu to some degree.
  15. My hands are horrible. I have been tested for arthritis and carpal tunnel. It is neither. Finally had to come to terms with it goes along with the fibro. I have learned to just keep them warm, gloves are a MUST in cold weather. My feet also have issues as well, all goes along with the fibro.
  16. This cold has kicked my arse totally! Fibro and cold DO NOT mesh together at all. I take Cymbalta and Ibuprofen each day, they help a lot, but in weather like this...there is not much help to be had. Cymbalta has been my life saver. I took Lyrica for about a year and almost lost my mind on it...took forever to get it out of my system as well. One thing I use that is helpful, I keep the little crackle heating thingys that hunters use in my pockets for my hands at work and such during the day. Helps keep the achiness away from my hands at least.
  17. When I had the Depo after baby 2, OMG it was awful. I truly thought I was becoming bi-polar! Do your best to stop with it and try and something else soon...the quicker you can get it out of your system the better. My Dr. did not warn me of the side effects of it (and I did not research it like I should have). NEVER EVER again.
  18. My road is already a solid sheet of ice, I just tried to get down it and my car went sliding. So no way by in the morning the buses will be able to get through.
  19. As does my husband...16 years worth. I just do not see this as that major of an issue. {{shrug}} Just too many bigger and more worrisome things out there than paying AFTER my life has been saved.
  20. You guys honestly have no idea how much time and effort goes into these rescue efforts. Firefighters spend probably 90% of their time working accidents and not even working fires. That is one big reason they have to be EMT certified at the minimum and many are actual paramedics. You do not want to give up services, then in many cases, this is only possible if there is money coming from somewhere to pay for the services. In case you guys have not noticed, our tax dollars are not currently covering everything there is to be covered out there...and by the way...your tax dollars alone do not pay f
  21. Can I bring you cash when the Tennessee one comes in. I have not had the chance to go to Paypal. Just let me know.
  22. I loved the song. I think his voice is great and the song itself is wonderful! I wish him good luck.
  23. We will not be getting it in my family. I have felt form the beginning it was too rushed through and that there is something going on behind the scenes regarding this vaccine. My kids have had their normal vaccinations and my son, who has asthma, gets his normal flu shot every year. HOWEVER, as a parent I have learned to trust my instincts and my mommy instinct is pinging away on this one. A dear friend who is a pediatrician, I asked if she would be vaccinating her children or family and her answer was a resounding NO. Just thought that was very interesting.
  24. We did NCG for the HArry Potter midnight premiere. This is about the only theater we will go to anymore. We love it there.
