Since Jan 2011, I've applied to 38 different jobs at a popular Atlanta based company. Each posting had a different job ID number and was posted at various times during the year, but the positions were the same basic title, description, etc. there's no way this place has that many positions for this title period much less open positions. an HR person told me that they got 800 resumes for 1 position and that's normal. and yet I keep applying like a dumbass.

He should've just kept it and not made a big deal about it. Unless that was the point. I think if a scholarship is for specific people it needs to be spelled out in big neon letters.
