Driving after even a single drink in Cobb county in a very, very bad idea. You could blow below the legal limit and they'd probably still find a way to make your night very bad. I got a littering ticket for spitting gum out my window on the on ramp to 575. You see that the problem is that Cobb has a lot of LE (Cobb county, marietta, austell, smyrna) and not *that* much crime.

Anyone have some good places to ride bikes? SCT just has too many serious cyclists that every time I take my 8 year old we spend most of the time almost killing people or being yelled at...not to mention there are some very steep cliffs and it makes me nervous that he'll get freaked out by the 60mph biker yelling LEFT! and run off the road and down the cliff... Any other places?

I understand their reason, but it was explained with an overtone of supremacy that I didn't appreciate. As for their policy - their loss. I got a new bike, it's not an expensive bike - $300. My son has a bike that I got him from Walmart or Target. Apparently, the new corporate travel agency neglected to make my flight arrangements to Spain. OH's is all booked, but I am not. I have emailed them and OH's secretary has emailed and nothing. These are going to be twice the price now.

I do understand the circular pay/tax earlier illustrated (quite well I might add), but I have to say that 20% of $100 = $20 in taxes. We then go and increase the pay rate of the service person by that $20. Now that same person is make $120 is paying $24 in taxes, though we only gave up $20 in increase. The govt is making $4 more, and the public official is going for $80 to $96. Right?
