As far as I can tell --- this is the real deal. If so --- I think using the "N" word is the least of her worries. (Kind of a cross between Martha Stewart and Leona Hensley) http://www.scribd.com/doc/148781831/Jackson-v-Deen-Et-Al-Complaint

I know someone who worked on the set of one of the shows she was on. He nicely called her a "real pill," and said that she treats her day-to-day staff like they are morons. They all scatter (run and hide) when the filming stops so they won't have to face her wrath if she doesn't like something. (she does apparently pay her staff VERY well, however, because they all stay and put up with it)

I'm not sure if the police would classify it as a suicide if it were true, but the first thing that came to my mind since they said they were giving the family privacy was perhaps that he passed away in a way similar to David Carradine.

Laura (all time favorite movie) To Catch a Thief North by Northwest Operation Petticoat Father Goose The Thin Man Casablanca Rebecca It's A Wonderful Life (but only at Christmas time) Harvey Arsenic and Old Lace Suspect DOA As you might have guessed - I love old movies!

If it was shown in theater 6 - it was probably their heating and air conditioning having a problem again.

We break for snakes, but fortunately they all seem to be in a hurry to get across, so we've never had to try to get one off the road and out of the way.

So do some box turtles! I had one for a couple of years when I was younger. Kept it in an enclosure in the backyard.
-
It's a painted turtle. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Painted_turtle
-
Same thing happened to me several years ago. I parked and was walking toward the turtle when a car went out of their lane and crossed over into the opposite lane to run over it. If I could have gotten their tag number I would have reported them for animal cruelty.

Wondering what possessed me to open this thread and read it....

Actually, you can put the SKU number in and scan it that way OR usually you can flag the attendant ant they will scan it for you.

PSA: Did you get some kind of email from this TV Doctor?/
SushiBoofay replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I haven't seen it lately, but there was an email circulating where he was supposedly endorsing acai berries. It wasn't "from" him - it was just suppose to be his endorsement. -
I use to get skinless boneless chicken breasts for about $4.00 for three. The other day - I saw a package of three for $12.00. I told the hubby if it goes up much more we are becoming vegetarians. (Would probably be much healthier for us too)

I will say one thing about those bright colors --- (we have a lot of them (sometimes in packs) that like to ride on our road). Those colors do let you see them right away when you come up on one of them in a car. I don't have the outfit, but I do have the helmet. I bought it after reading an article about how many adults have gotten serious head injuries after falling off a bike and hitting the pavement.

Nope, it is actually through eBay. They started the program in San Jose and are now trying it out here. I ghostwrite articles about eBay for a client, so have been following this for several months now. Here's an AJC article about it. http://www.ajc.com/weblogs/atlanta-bargain-hunter/2013/apr/29/free-service-makes-ebay-selling-easy/

While researching an article for a client --- I stumbled onto this: http://www.ebaysellingassistant.com/ This program was first introduced in San Jose and must have done pretty well if it's coming here. Keep in mind --- they don't want complete junk and they donate what doesn't sell, but it is a great way to get rid of some stuff and maybe make a little money in the process!

I use to own a pet sitting business and still pet sit occasionally as an IC. The only dog I have ever had a problem with was a poodle and he was really a sweet heart, but you could not put your hand over his head (to put a leash on) or he would bite. Thankfully, I had on a coat when he did. btw - I have also sat for some pit bulls. One was so lovable - he would lick you to death before he would bite you, but I still wouldn't have allowed a young child to be around him (or any other dog) alone.
-
THIS. Children like to reach out and touch dogs, esp. around the face area. Since the child is the same height as some of these dogs - the dog sees it as a sign of aggression - just as if the child were another dog. I would not leave any small child alone with a dog any more than I would leave him or her alone with a python or boa constrictor. Just not smart.

From what I've seen of her --- I don't like her and I think she has some mixed up views about the United States, but her response that her sons are innocent is a pretty normal response. I think it would be hard for any parent to accept that their child (or children) were monsters. I'm sure the parents of the boys involved in the Columbine shootings went through a period where they were in denial about what they did too.

Reese Witherspoon's husband Walk's the Line
SushiBoofay replied to NinaBritt's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Her hair is dark because of the movie she is filming. Maybe that is why the police didn't know who she was. -
If it is the Reese Witherspoon movie ---it is called "The Good Lie."

He said they are adding some more items to the menu. One of them is a turkey sandwich on Cuban bread with cream cheese and a strawberry (like jam or maybe jam...) filling. It sounded VERY good. We will probably try it next!
-
Tried it today. I had the Reuben sandwich and it was great! The hubby had a grilled chicken sandwich and thought it was one of the best he ever had. (We got a menu - so next time we might actually try something that is completely Cuban) The only thing we were thinking is that it would be good if there was a combo price (maybe sandwich, one side, and drink) --- when purchased separately the sandwich, side, and drink (which for us were regular french fries) make the meal somewhat pricey. We will def. be going back, however.

Better stay away from eBay too.... My link
