Where would this place be?

Congrats to PCHS. Did quite a bit of yelling and clapping when your awards were announced. It was great to see your kids soooooo excited!! Hiram had some tough competition in their class but they looked amazing, as always, and third in the sweepstakes was a great accomplishment! JSU, good grief, I could have watched them forever....my gosh, they are truly a reason for jaw dropping. And obviously their recruiting works very well as my daughter could not stop talking about them all day on Sunday.

I live there, have forever and that made me laugh out loud......SO TRUE. Are you sure the kids live in the subdivision or were they some of the wanderers that have been roaming on the streets in there lately?

Once you get into that pose, how would you get out of it without breaking something? -
Why only that long? You figuring they are going to leave it open while people line up to watch the parade, if indeed the highway is a viewing area, and only close it when the parade comes through? That would seem pretty dangerous to me.

When our daughter told us this morning all my husband and I could do was chuckle. We are both from the coast and grew up marching in mardi gras parades (he even played tuba). I am shocked, though, that they are going to close down 92 for a parade. Somehow, I have a feeling the parade route will not include the highway next year. A fender bender backs it up to Walmart, this will probably back it up to infinity......

Long ago, in another work life, I was in the warehouse of the building supply company that I worked with and knocked over part of a pallet of stain which proceeded to run through the pallet and slat floor (on second floor) onto the row of crazy expensive leaded glass entry doors that were stored below. We sold quite a few of those doors with partial stain jobs at a reduced price. At another building supply company one of my forklift drivers dropped a pallet of sheetrock mud while moving it from the top rack. It happened at closing, thankfully, so only those of us left in the building were e

I don't think it has actually been reported that it was a hit and run........

The National Anthem was incredible. Paulding County is truly blessed with five amazingly talented high school music programs.

Yes, you can count us in with the cheering sea of gold. Cannot wait to enjoy ALL the bands!!

Knock three times on the ceiling if you want me, .......... -
I love many things; family, friends, the earth and its constant changes but my favorite is to sit in a chair, on a beach in the Tortugas, with only the sound of the surf, wind, and birds. A real opportunity to feel close to God and His creations.

You are correct about the financial analysis but busses come out of one budget (the school) and crosswalks, sidewalks, overheads (road structures) come from the DOT...
-
What a poor, defensive response and WOW the grammar......thank heavens for Teleprompters. By the way, I agree with the DOT assessment of the area. Sidewalks and an OVERHEAD crosswalk are the only way to make that a safe crossing area.

What are your hours? -
Just stay clear of the wizarding world if you go. We went in July and the crowds were larger than many mardi gras parade crowds and there is so much crammed into such a small area of the park that you just cannot move.

I am sure you are going to get tons of advice on what to do and see in Orlando so I will just throw two things out there for you Animal Kingdom is amazing first thing in the morning (when the park opens). A Disney employee told us to go there first and it was great! The animals are up and about and we found many handlers/trainers that were still in the area that were eager to share information on the animals they work with/care for. That and Hollywood Studio's are our favorite Disney parks. Outta Control Dinner Show.....We go to Orlando at least once a year and this is probably one

That is great news!

I noticed it yesterday and the front on the building simply said "scrubs"........
