Yes. I am married to my BEST friend but am Blessed to have had a best friend for the past 45 years. We have raised our children together, vacation together, cried and laughed together. YES. Prior to moving to GA we were visting friends in Stone Mountain. DS was in the basement and they had one of those old phones that had HUGE buttons and he was playhing with it. We had no idea until the police officers knocked on the front door. We know something was up bc NO ONE used their front door, only the kitchen door. DH went to the door and they asked if there was anyone else at the home. I had to go to the door in my housecoat and let them see I was okay. I am sure they thought I had called 911 and then DH had hung up the phone before I could say anything. They had to verify there

I do not understand why your Step Fathers doctor would tell him to get a SS attoney to start his disability. He (or you if he is not comfortable with computers) can file for SS disability online. From the information provided SS will obtain his medical records and make a determination of benefits. IF the doctor knows the correct terminology to use in his reports, it is helpful in being approved. (That is more important than having an attorney!!!) Your Step Father should know the majority of those who file for disability ARE DENIED!!!!! Years ago I was told by a SS rep that everyone was denied

We are going to Rodney's on the 13th for their Valentines Special. There will be a group of 12 of us - we will spend it with dear, lifelong friends and DD and her family.
