I had to put my mother in a nursing home and it was the hardest decision I have ever had to make. I put her at Paulding and I was soooooo pleased with them. It was clean and the staff was awesome (both to her and to myself)! They called me with any type of issue, day or night. I know a lot of people give Paulding a negative thought, but I was so pleased that if I was in the same position again, I would definitely choose Paulding.

Every ornament on my tree has a meaning. My children made some, my mother made one while in the nursing home, some were gifts from people, some were bought on family vacations. There is not an ornament on my tree that doesn't have a meaning or a memory.

There are 12 of us going.

I agree! I was just telling DH a few days ago about them, he never ate them.

I think it should be a nice, lazy, lay around the house doing nothing kind of day. (That's what I think should happen, not what will happen, of course)

I like to collect small trinket/jewelry boxes.

I didn't even think about it and today is my anniversary (10-10-98).

OMG! I soooo remember those! A friend and I were just talking about Trapper Keepers. I asked one of her kids what kind of trapper keeper did they get for school and they looked at me like I was crazy.

I had this same issue a few weeks ago. These were not yellow jackets and there were hundreds upon hundreds of them. These looked more like a small honey bee. Anyway, hubby covered the area with seven dust and they were gone the next day.

lettuce...(it makes me gag to just think of it) tomatoes cucumbers onions (it's a texture thing) peppers (none of any kind) Basically, I don't like anything associated with a salad except for ranch dressing.
