I agree - the bottom line is the students have to be in class a specific amount of time to constitute the school year. It can effect the graduating Seniors if the school year is lengthened. And, I agree with Madea this is the most cost effective way to do it.

I have a couple gallon bags of shelled raw peanuts. I need some yummy recipes to do with them. I have seen pecans baked in cinnamon and other spices but not peanuts. Any suggestions??? TIA.

I haven't tried Hunt's but I second the recommendation for Route 61. Their catfish is off the hook. (No pun intended ) DH and I went to Catfish Den a couple of months ago. He had the steak they were advertising and it wasn't good. I had the catfish fillets that was good. But, I doubt we'll be going back. We were there later in the evening but still 30-45 mins before the posted closing time. It was obvious the servers were trying to get out of there by cleaning the floors and tables. A waitress other than ours kept trying to take plates off our table - that we were still eating from!
