RIP Sparky Anderson - A baseball giant
Joe Sixpack replied to afriendlygeek's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Rest in peace Sparky . . . -
I just saw that preview option, that's pretty slick.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is greater than a pi$$ant, yet smaller than a $hitload if I'm not mistaken . . .

I'm not sure which I hate worse - the fact that it was nothing, or the fact that I'm disappointed that it was nothing. I really need to work on getting a life one day . . .
-
That is a lot better - I don't much care for the blue, but it blends better . . .

I thought you were dead . . . Good to see you too . . .

I used that Chantix stuff, and it worked for me. I haven't had a cigarette since August of last year. I smoked for 30-35 years and was shocked at how easy it was. I always thought those smoking aids were a crock - but that one worked for me . . .

On Sunday I'm dressing as a spork, On Saturday I'm dressing as the Devil and scaring the Hell into people . . . -
Full Windsor. The half looks just as well, but they hang below my belt, which is unacceptable.

Always tip curbside - it's a convenience thing $2 a bag . . .

Clockwise - 1.4 miles, anticlockwise - 4.1 miles . . .

I had a Craving for some Chicken Wings so....
Joe Sixpack replied to Caped Crusader's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Their hot wings are good too, and their prices are right. The owner wanted to start delivering as well, but I'm not sure if they've started yet. I hope they fair well, several have tried that location and failed. Maybe the Food Lion being across the street will help their business . . . -
I don't know what it is about cross stitch, but I've always found it appealing. Color me impressed . . .

Instant replay will be used the the Little League WS?
Joe Sixpack replied to bvrat5199's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I don't like it one bit, at any level. The umpire has been an x factor in the game for well over 100 years, I see no need to change that now . . . -

To Save You Money and Save Me Time...a few words...
Joe Sixpack replied to subby1's topic in Business NEWS
I hate filling the landfill with disposable trimmers, but I seem to run through them pretty quickly If I get two full seasons out of the cheap crap I'm willing to buy, I'm pretty happy Thanks for the tips subby . . . -
Shhh . . . I was this close to bringing her to the bike side . . .

I understand where you are coming from, I really do - But in reality, they where most likely riding four abreast for safety sake. As you said, it's a winding road. If you attempted a pass and saw an oncoming car, you would most likely swerve to avoid it. Killing one or more of the cyclists.. And leaving an ugly spandex smudge on your fender to boot . . .
-
While "share the road" is a two way street, <~~(pun) a double yellow line road is a no passing zone. No passing . . . The bicyclists who where on the public road, legally, are most likely taxpayers as well. PS - I love your signature . . .
