I'm a big fan of Zenni. When I got my first pair from them some 5 years ago, I took the glasses and the prescription up to Wal*Mart just to see if it was accurate. The Dr checked them out and said that the lenses were spot on. I've been using them ever since without any problems. My eyes are way whacked, so my glasses are normally $300+ With Zenni it was less then $30. Bifocals, scratch resistant and anti glare included. The $8 pairs are for single vision, no bells, no whistles. Perfect too for kids glasses as hard as they are on them.

I won't weigh in as to what to name it, but I will say it's a bit greasy for my taste. It's fine when you mix it with rice or noodles though. Just my nickles worth . . .

My wife and I bought kayaks this year and have taken them to Tybee. One trip we took was to Little Tybee for a picnic. You can camp for free on the island, and since you can only get there by watercraft, it's none too crowded. We've never taken one of the tours that you spoke of, but happy paddling . . .
