  1. I use Pirate Bay and alluc. Got any others I should know about?
  2. Ah - No, they are open to the public and legal. The are marked with white arrows one blue, and/or a horseshoe. The bikers, hikers, and riders share the path, so heads up. But it's rarely populated . . . If you are looking for riders or places to ride though, you can't beat SORBA . . .
  3. He's talking about BMX bikes, not motor bikes. SORBA has trails in Paulding - the Comet equestrian/BMX trail and there is a one at Mt Tabor too. I haven't been there, but I've heard good things . . .
  4. I bought the Roku, but I must admit I'm disappointed in it. I was under the impression that you could watch streaming video of anything that your computer could and that simply isn't the case. It works fine for watching Netflix and Crackle, but it can only stream Hulu Plus, the free Hulu uses Flash which the Roku won't support. If I had it to do again, I'd go to Best Buy and see what the choices really offer first hand. I was torn between the Roku and the Boxee, and I fear I choice poorly . . . If any of you Roku users find a free private channel that is worth watching, let me know.
  5. I use web66.com - Their site looks cheesy, but I've been with them 13 years without a single problem, and they had the same look back then. I know it's $20. a year to register your domain, I don't know if you have to pay for a plan beyond that if you're just parking.
  6. I was looking at those, but the ones I saw were aftermarket models. I thought the price would be worth it ($50) if they performed as promised. The other downside of the thunderbolt is the bulk of the thing. Add on the extended battery and you may as well carry a netbook for the girth of it. If I had it to do over again, I'd forgo the screen size (which I love) and the 4G capability (at the time, it was one of the few) and buy something less bulky. That being said, I do love the fact that it will outperform, hands down, any other phone that anyone I know owns. My iphone4 friends weep when
  7. I have the HTC Thunderbolt. Outstanding coverage, 3G everywhere, 4G most places. The downside is battery life. You can tweak it so it lasts all day with heavy use, but you will be charging it every night. No getting around that. I'm using it now on my deck watching the rain fall, listening to Pandora and reading pcom...
  8. I wanted to side with the friends on this one until I read the story. Turns out they were just freaking idiots. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Stupid people shouldn't breed . . .
  9. I hope that was his daddy's car. Stupid people shouldn't breed . . .
  10. There's nothing to read here good citizen - go on about your business . . .
  11. I didn't get the Code Red phone call, so I went online to see why. I couldn't login, so I re-registered. Does anyone know if I have to regester each year, or is it good for "life"? CodeRed Website
  12. Thank God Paulding County has Florida to make us look better . . .
  13. I've been thinking about this same topic myself the last month or so. My biggest concern is the limitations on bandwidth that are certain to take place once people start drifting to alternative forms of entertainment. To get reliable bandwidth, in my novice opinion, you are still going to be cutting Comcast a check each week, which gets my goat. I've been trying to educate myself on alternatives, but I'm still at a loss as to where to start. you may want to look into one program that I like called Cord Cutters They haven't help me decide where to turn in our market, but they do offer some
  14. Don't shed any tears for the teachers, we knew what we were getting into when we signed on the bottom line. And it's not a lifetime contract, we can bow out at any time. From what I've seen, the ones you want to keep will be there next year. It's what we do . . .
  15. This place is awesome. They also have couples weekends which include zip lines, couples messages, meals and more. Locally owned and operated and just minutes from home . . .
  16. I think it's for your extra roll. My grandmother used to knit covers for hers. I like mine naked, and ready to roll . . . (that may become my new tagline). . .
  17. I'd love to see something like that, but I'd also like to see a credible source to back it up. Nothing personal, I'm just saying . . .
  18. I thought they put AC in the kitchens last year or the year before . . .
  19. Whoa - Those things are gorgeous! I'm sure the price is well worth the bars, I just don't have that kind of disposable income. But, I'd love to get that top one, it is just stunning . . .
