  1. Merry Christmas! MaryBeth and Maggie send their love!
  2. You sure that they aren't Madame Alexander dolls?
  3. Yeah, and you don't like cats either. Right, Wink?
  4. That's the trick! I don't have a recipe; just years of watching my grandmother. She never measured anything. Just have it almost soupy going in the oven...
  5. Thanks for the info! I'll go up there tomorrow, since I was 65 in May and no longer work!
  6. The veggies she described: bell pepper, garlic, etc.
  7. My cats free feed on indoor cat food and I switch back and forth between Cat Chow and friskies. One cat was 21 when he died and another was 18. I've never had a cat with bad breath except for one who had problems with her teeth. My other cats have no smell to their breath at all. The cat box issue is another story. I'm back to using Fresh Step multiple cat. Their individual "stinkiness factor" varies from cat to cat. They eat the same food but there is a BIG difference in the output from cat to cat! BTW, I have 5.
  8. His mother was my mom's roommate at Paulding nursing home and has become a dear friend. I pray for the family to find peace in this time of sorrow. Much love to Lee. Carolyn

  10. My son works for Verizon and uses AT&T for his personal phone.
  11. Laurie, do you know the reason for the hair loss? I have a cat with alopecia, she licks the hair off her tummy and back legs. It's like OCD in humans and can be caused by stress. Here's a link to alopecia in dogs if you think it fits. She's such a cutie! http://pets.webmd.com/dogs/hair-loss-in-dogs-causes-diseases
  12. When I retired in 2000, I retired from Russell. It was a top-notch school at the time. I hate to think parents are now avoiding it! A close friend is still the secretary there.
  13. Is this it?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8RVrY-OZ4w The Raspberries. Go all the way, not go away! Really bad recording.
  14. I'm in central Paulding and have not seen them (knocking on wood), however, we don't have kudzu close by.
  15. Cold carrots and dill pickles! My sons' loved those.
  16. My cousin has lived there for abt 15 years and loves it. She lives in the area that was Matthews in the Sardis Road area. I would move there if I didn't have family here. I wouldn't say the traffic is that much better, but it's better in the south of Charlotte where you are talking about. Lots of places to shop and cute antique stores in the small towns, too.
  17. cornstarch dissolves in COLD water, not hot.
  18. I agree. I'd like a red front door but my house is yellow, so I went with dark green.
