  1. With those choices, I voted TV. I can watch a lot of shows via the internet anyway.
  2. Looks like a great time was had by all! I love the Faces in the Mountain pic Fotogirl.
  3. What a handsome lil man!!! His big sisters look so proud. Blessings upon blessings to you all!
  4. I like two equals and flavored creamer.
  5. I will never admit to all the times I've typed a reply, only to delete it entirely.
  6. What goes around, comes around. [i don't normally use the term "karma". I find that to be a very misunderstood and misused term, being the comparative religious geek that I am. I'd rather say Wyrd, or Fate, if pressed for a term.] I don't always believe that one should have to duke it out with someone who has done them wrong, but there again, I don't believe one has to always take the high road, nor turn the other cheek.

    Why

I don't know what might could be implemented that would make everyone happy around here. I see this like the magazines, newspapers, and tv stations -- they don't police their advertisers! They don't offer ratings on them. That's for the consumer to research! "Caveat emptor" - buyer beware. Word of mouth is the best around. It is so easy for people around here to gang up and go after someone they don't like. Believe me! Been there, done that -- still hearing immature comments and untruths made by people in fact! And that's where this type of system that some people seem to b
  8. (((( HUGS ))))) I'll remember you all in my thoughts.
  9. There doesn't appear to be any window in line with the camera angle that could have produce a reflection. (And it's not inside through a window - which I agree with you on, if it were.) I hope the OP will share the pics taken three frames before this one, and maybe two after it myself.
  10. I don't see anything to indicate this was faked, nor that it was a reflection. However, there are other things that can cause this type of image with a digital camera. Which is why I'd love to see a few photos before this one was taken.
  11. Was this taken with a digital camera, or a film camera? Ok. I didn't see that when I posted. That does indeed make this a bit more interesting!!!! I'd like to see the photographs taken right before this shot, and the ones following it. Especially the ones right before.
  12. Awww! What a great photograph! He's such a handsome young man. Congrats on his Olympic medal!!!
  13. Yep, I'd vote for it. Just like I'd vote to abolish the ludicrous "Blue Laws" as well.
  14. I like mine because it's an artistic expression of a "Celtic Woman" spiritually speaking -- using the spirals/green on her skin, and leaves as her hair -- it reminds me of Ireland, and of Cornwall... two places where huge chunks of my Heart reside. I change it from time to time.
  15. Don't punish the kids. Give them the supplies. Count your losses, and do NOT make the same mistake again.
  16. Between Barbie, Brats, or THIS DOLL -- Um, that's an *easy* choice as to which one is most positive on all levels. The breast feeding one of course. I thought it was creepy when I thought that the little breast feeding top had flaps or something. Not sure what I had in my head. But when I saw it in action, nope, I think it's great. And you know, no one will force a parent to buy that for their child. So, don't understand the big deal. Your family doesn't like it? Don't buy it. Me? If I had a little girl who wanted one, I'd probably buy it for her.
  17. OHHHHH!!! The visual aid helped. I agree. A lot less creepy than I fist envisioned. I actually don't have a problem with it after seeing it in action.
  18. Gross!! I swear, she's a human bobble-head doll. Ick. I think that'll pretty much seal the deal on me being a non-fan this year. Ugh.
  19. I agree. That's the part of this doll that I find weird. If they left the top out of it, and just made the doll as is, I think it would be a much better product. Leave that part up to the lil'girl to pretend/figure out. I don't think there is ANYTHING wrong with little girls pretending to breast feed babies. It's one of the most natural, healthy, beautiful things that a woman can do as a mother, for her child. It's a positive act for mother and child, and I think a good one to teach young girls about -- as they will be the future mother's of our world. I do not think it encoura
  20. Fantabulous!!! This is a great story to start the day with. If more people would come to understand that little truth, and that we're all connected, this world would be a much better place! You rock Oscar!
  21. I buy ours at the local vet. They usually toss in one to two months free, with a six month pack - so it comes out cheaper than online.
  22. Well, if you smoke dope IN FRONT of your child, then yeah, makes it hard to be taken seriously when you tell them not to. Same for having sex in front of them, or drinking in front of them, or having fist fights in front of them.... .... or losing your cool completely in public to the point that you physically DRAG them by their "child harness" through a store. I think that's more what she's talking about. Not the above. That's my take/thoughts at least!
