  1. When my eyes are extra dry, yes, I do. Actually, that's where all of this started. I had a cornea tear in my left eye that would not heal. It would literally rip open every - single - day. I cannot describe to you the pain I was in. I really thought I was going to lose my mind. My ophthalmologist mentioned to me that I could possibly have Sjogren's disease. I had never heard of it before that moment. After consulting with Dr. Wilson, and going through testing, I was diagnosed. I subsequently had to have punctal plugs put in both my eyes (tear-duct plugs) and also a procedure done on my e
  2. I was up there three weeks ago, and again this past weekend.... but was for business purposes, so no time to play. Will have to make that happen for fun though! Miss all my friends up there!!!
  3. Yeppers.... his ears, his cheeks, his entire face. Good times, good times.
  4. It was said with my tongue firmly in my cheek. Made me recall an afternoon eating sushi with LPPT and TBAR. Let's just say we can't repeat part of that conversation, but I bet TBAR's ears are still bright red from some of it! LOLOLOL Gosh, you guys are helping me to feel better today with all the giggles!
  5. This is how Boss Hogg explained it to me: ~Click on Paulding.com (the oval logo at the top left of your screen) ~ In County wide news, click on the right hand side on the second image (that says Portal View) ~ When page opens, place cursor on right hand edge and pull the edge to the center to reveal the livestream. Good Luck! (It's like a scavenger hunt to find the show!)
  6.       HYSTERICAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LPPT: "... more better". You guys are cracking me up!!!
  7. I'm a cool friend... but I'm 4 1/2 hours away now. I've missed hearing LPPT's laugh IRL! Man, what a cackle she has!!!
  8. No one would ever accuse LPPT of being a ham!!!!
  9. I have flash installed. I took Elwood to say that your first post in this thread should have a graphic there / instructions as to how to view the live Pcom. There is *no* graphic on my side in your first post. Following Boss Hogg's PM (Click on P.com logo at the top, then to CountyWide, the click on Portal View, then "slide" the screen over) I was able to see you guys. Funny! There's my post on the LIVE show. Awww, there's my LPPT! Good to "see" you guys!!!!!
  10. Boss Hogg was nice enough to send me a PM to explain how to get to it. I finally was able to do it. That seems like a BUNCH of stuff to do to get to the live show to me. But it's good to see Pubby!
  11. Nope. I am using Firefox/Mozilla as my browser though. Wonder if that is the glitch?
  12. Therein lies the problem. There is *no* graphic on my side in that first post.
  13. I've had no side effects from taking the Plaquenil, and it's helped me with my Sjogren's tremendously. I have to have my eyes checked to make sure I don't get a calcium build up, but thus far that hasn't been an issue either. Not everything works for everyone, and not all medications are right for every patient. As with Lupus, there is no cure for Sjogren's either. We treat the symptoms as best we can, and learn to tolerate the rest. The Plaquenil has helped me with my dry eye (I have punctal plus too) /mouth, as well as my joint symptoms too. It's been a good thing for me.
  14. Telisa Swan, at Ms Deborah's Fountain of Youth Tattoo in St. Augustine Fl. She rocks!
  15. Yeppers. That would be the one. How'd you know?
  16. Isn't he the best????!!! I think the world of him. I was so worried about moving to S. GA., fearful that I wouldn't find a doctor of his caliber in this area. Fortunately for me, someone that Dr. Wilson recommend to me, turned out to be equally wonderful. Anyone within the spectrum of autoimmune disorders would do well to get in to see he or his wife. They are a dynamic duo!
  17. Oh, ok. Some of the above indicated to me that there was.
  18. I can tell you that Dr. Hayes Wilson in Atlanta is one excellent rheumatologist if any of you need one there!
  19. Glad a new med is working for you. I have a different autoimmune disease called Sjogren's. Mine is pretty controlled ::: knocking on wood :: and I do take a daily medication for it. Ironically, it's a malaria drug! And they don't completely understand why it helps people with Sjogren's. Go figure!
  20. I can see that. Almost a dozing out due to the chemical surge in your brain/body.... But not a complete pass out, and certainly NOT on your face.
  21. I must have missed what spurred this entire conversation. Link anyone?
  22.   Well, I can tell you. Having ink punctured into the top layers of your skin is not going to be one of them, unless you're on some sort of chemical substance. Ain't happening. No way could I have slept through one moment of this.
