I noticed that there's zero windows on the "unfinished" first floor. Was this a budgetary, security, or aesthetic decision?

If you know it's the element then you can replace it yourself for a fraction of the cost of calling out a plumber. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyC55h7lhYM

Put chicken soup in the birdbaths with small shots of nyquil, along with some tiny blankets, they'll be okay.

Nearly all out of season fruits and veggies come from the southern hemisphere...

It was all I could do last night not to make the same jest, but since you were first... If I was that well endowed I'd just throw it up in the window-sill so it'd wink at the ladies as I drove by.

If the economy is getting better, then why in the world
Riptides replied to subby1's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Welcome to the new economy, the one we grew up with and were used to are now part of the "good ol' days". Once we started sending jobs off-shore it was set in stone that our economy was going to go the way of other 3rd world countries as it's the only way to bring everything in line. Yup for us to have the "good life" here it had to suck for others some-where else. But take the jobs away, gut the middle class, and it's a race to the bottom with no finish line in sight. Next on the agenda will be the bursting of the trillion dollar student loan bubble, once we get that out of the way -
Wasn't trying to "shoot you down" over it, just stating the facts. SMS Text messages work via the "ping" to the network towers and require no bandwidth to send/receive plain text from the network to the phone. Many cell phone networks have issues with bandwidth during peak times in metro areas as a rule, if you ever tried to dial out on a cell in the afternoons and get a long pause before the connection goes through it might because you're in a first available call queue. Once you add in everyone in an area trying to use the voice protocols at once (ie dial out), the voice portion is go

Based on what? There were no issues at all with text messages being sent and received by folks in the area following the detonation. The problem was with phone calls needing a dedicated line and using higher bandwidth that caused them to become unavailable with an estimated nearly 50,000 folks trying to use their cellphones all at once to make calls. The cell network was up the entire time following the explosions, the issue is that internally the voice network became overloaded and went down, and didn't come back up until everyone on scene realized they couldn't make phone calls and s

Glad she was okay, because every time I flashed my lights the guy in the backseat with the butcher knife would duck back down again!!!! So hopefully her husband took care of him. J/K - Just relaying the old urban legend. And I had someone do this to me when I was younger and I didn't pull into my driveway either. I just kept driving and ended up losing him in traffic.

Speed Queen still only fills the tub to 70-75%. Check out this video and "hack" the water selector into making it work as intended. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBHO1bPnlUU

Correct me if I'm wrong but by the time they fall off the tree they aren't as "fresh" as the ones they harvest.
-
Did some research on this brand and even Speed Queen is subject to the EPA lower water use laws. But, there are videos on Youtube that show how to enable a "full tub fill", just FYI.

Slept with the windows open last night, nice and chilly, woke up today and both of us here had banging sinus headaches. This sucks.

I hear a noise early every morning. It's either the crack of dawn or the break of day.

1. Meh, if they didn't open a store in Hiram I wouldn't know they exist. 2. Still viable, but there's 2 other retailers competing in that space, only reason they all exist is small businesses still need somewhere with better choices of supplies vs. Wal-Mart style stores with "office" sections shoe-horned in. But I've run more and more into the problem of the things they carry other places don't.. they don't have "in stock" when I shop there. 3. Haha, hate walking into that place. If I look at TV's some blow-hard tries to sell me one and gets irate when I'm not interested, same with t

Riptides replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Shoot my ex-wife used to sleep thru me screaming "Tornado Incoming" in the middle of the night.. by the time she'd wake up, use the potty, she'd be cross with me for waking her up over nothing, since it'd already be in the next county. -
