I don't know why but this reminds me of this cartoon I used to watch in the early 80s

But.. but.. but.. that stuff ain't trash I'm the same way though, so much stuff can be reused.. but there is a limit, just sometimes I have problems recognizing it. :)

The only thing stored in my garage are tools, lawn equipment, and a freezer that currently contains no dead bodies. Still enough room to park 2 cars, work on a project, and ample space to stash folks that piss me off. A woman should never ever deign to throw away something in a "working" garage.

When I was young I would go spend weekends at my cousins house, and even whole weeks during the summer. Funny thing was after being there 24 hours I would start to get really bad nosebleeds and headaches. I should note that they never had anything to drink in the house but diet coke. They went through a case a day with the 5 of them, 3 kids, aunt and uncle. Fast forward to today and I cannot drink anything with aspartame in it. I have an immediate reaction to the taste, or rather, aftertaste that seems to resemble moth balls. If I drink an entire "diet" anything I get a migraine. I

New Rules regarding Personal attacks in signatures
Riptides replied to gpatt0n's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Good point. Another point is a signature will be fine until someone feels they are personally attacked by it. How will the moderation handle that? From what I've experienced it seems to be over-reaction, cast aspersions, and attack without having all the facts accounted for. -
Our storage building stuff is getting moldy........
Riptides replied to Mrs G's topic in RECENT TOPICS
A dehumidifier is nothing but a single air flow window AC mounted in a free standing box. Instead of two fans blowing opposite over split coils, like a window unit, it has a single fan drawing air over the evap coils to remove the water, then exhausting the air over the condenser coils which warms it up. Better idea if they run power to the building would be to put a small 5500-6000 BTU window A/C into the wall of the building since you get the benefits of moisture removal and climate control which will help the items being stored not to deteriorate faster in the heat. A couple of questions about a cruise.........
Riptides replied to dawneykids's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Sounds like the idea of modern cruising was dreamed up by pot heads. -
I remember this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJo0MT3wDBs

Possibly, to answer your last question. BTW, it wasn't tonight we went but during this past week. Like I said it seemed like the staff didn't want to be there the night we went.

Ditto. Rode across the county and went around dinner time, (eta: during this past week), and it was dead inside. The food was okay but the service was atrocious, in all honesty it seemed like the staff had a very very low morale going on during our visit. The only busy portion was the bar area and that's where staff were congregating constantly watching TV and eating. Here are the highlights: After being seated we had to flag them down to get our drink order after waiting 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. Then we had to flag someone down to return the drinks as the

Philly & Wangs It's actually in the spot where the Philly Connection was beside the dreaded hiram chinese buffet.

Compression and ignition temp are directly related in internal combustion engines, so both ways of describing it are correct.

I wanna be that guy, and say, I've enjoyed the rain this summer, because my yard looks fabulous.

Not trying to disparage the shop in question, but rarely does 02 sensors and a catalytic converter all need to be replaced at one go, and if so, something catastrophic has happened to require their replacement. IMO, if the shop was going out of the way to make this right they'd already have a dealership ready to "re-flash" and it would be a case of you dropping off the car with them, and them handing you the keys to an issue-less vehicle.

The only folks who could answer that probably work for the Petro Co's. Do I personally think it can affect results, sure, but to a degree that would affect emissions outcome? Doubtful. Knowing a good bit on how current engines operate I have to say that a change in fuel possibly affecting the CEL and/or emissions is another symptom of a bigger issue with the engine. To address your original post, I agree with what those said before about getting the vehicle looked at via the dealership. I think the shop that worked on the car shotgunned a fix hoping it would work, and according to th

Octane rating is a number measuring how much more compression than standard a fuel can withstand before detonation in an engine. Generally higher octanes are run in more performance based engines. Some of those Euro engines require a higher octane but it should say that somewhere on the car or in the vehicles literature. The only issue with running a lower octane than required is the chance of having the engine knock from pre-detonation of the fuel and/or increased fuel consumption.

Worked with a fella one time that grew up on a S. Pacific island, tribally, and he related how they would cook a goat, an entire goat, and eat the whole damn thing. He said generally the goat would feed his village for an entire week since some parts took longer to prepare than others. The favorite bit seemed to be the eyes, the boys would all compete for those, and the most hated part was the hoofs, but boil them long enough and they were edible. We got on the subject cos he knew where Paulding county was since he came out here on special occasions to buy goats to cook. That is until the

Here's a snippit from the GA Dept. of Revenue: AFAIK private individuals cannot act as a 3rd party to the title transfer, if a person buys a car who wants to resell it then it has to be titled appropriately along the way. Dealerships will obviously operate under their own set of rules and be exempt from this process.

Yeah you cannot "opt" for anything but paying the entire tax up front. This is going to kill folks who buy cars with blown engines (etc..) who want to rebuild them and flip the cars.
