There are NO laws in the State of Georgia that suggest this UNLESS you are a party to the accident. For example trying to pull someone from a burning car and failing to do so, or attempting CPR unsuccessfully, would make you liable in a wrongful death suit in this state.

There are a few new cars out there with GPS built in that will actually self-adjust the speedo readings. The problem with getting into the on board computer is you need a programming tool and not just an OBDII scantool that interfaces, which most places won't have the former since one mistake w. programming can screw up the car and they don't want the liability.

If you're not used to being on the sea the closer to the water, as in the lower you are in the ship, the less lateral and vertical movement you're exposed to while the ship is under way. Which can make a big difference in being able to sleep comfortably.
