We could just airdrop sammiches. But seriously, their military is starving, and their active military gets it better than the non-military populace. To defeat them it wouldn't require much more than bringing down their leadership.

"Ear plugs" just my bill-paying humble opinion

I have a niece who decided to rebel a few years back and get a wiccan pentagram neck tattoo that covers her neck, chest, and more.. and now she walks around clueless why she cannot get a job anywhere, why "nice" guys won't approach her, much less talk to her, and considers everyone else in the family "OVER-Judgmental". -

With houses being better insulated in the walls, especially with vapor barriers, the chance for radon exposure increases because of the vapor/gases coming up from the ground. Folks on slabs are even more prone to radon exposure. I think the home improvement stores sell some type of detector/kits.

Hmmm.. A quick google search shows that that model of gun has had some feed issues with certain types of ammo.

Yup it's marking water, power, and phone, all with pink ribbons. Going N. on 92 coming into Hiram and through the 278 intersection isn't all that bad. It's traveling south on 92 and coming to the 278 intersection that's horrible. I'll go down BCPkwy to avoid that intersection if I'm not going to Hiram although it is a bit longer around.

Criterion Diamonds in same shopping center as Jim n Nicks and Mellow Mushroom, they'll buy at market value on gold, but aren't usually interested in any precious stones/pearls.

Imagine you're a guy in your mid-30s, educated in Switzerland, a smart enough guy. You're not particularly interested in politics, just want to have a good time and enjoy the luxuries you've always been accustomed to. Then all of a sudden, you're dragged from your cozy, relatively anonymous life and told you're the leader of one of the world's last remaining military dictatorships. You don't particularly want to lead, you'd rather continue your life as a pampered playboy, but the people around you are murderous, and will brook no signs of weakness. This is a roller-coaster you're on, you h

The E. Paulding Dr. to Ridge Rd. widening project was scrapped in the 90's. There is a new Hwy 92 project to widen from Nebo to I-20. Link Here. I don't know of any plans to widen 92 from Hiram to E. Paulding, but it may be another new project.

Be very wary of the fine print of those "buy here pay here" lots. Many of them have the clause that if you are so much as a day late with the payment you lose the car and every thing you've put into it money wise. Had a friend that did detail work for one of those places and he said Saturday mornings were like Christmas on the lot. Everyone would show up, pull personal items out of all the cars, divvy it out, clean them up, and have them ready to sale again all before 10am.

Everything is better with Ta-Ta's. Everything.

Wind Power has been in use by folks for over 2000 years for applications where it makes sense, such as windmills for grinding grain, or pumping water on large farms. But it's not a panacea. Much like solar, it's a good solution for small scale end-user applications, and can help offset what hurts solar, storms on a sunny day tend to produce wind, and so on. But it's been shown time and time again that these "wind farms" will never make their money back nor offset the energy used in putting them in place. The moving parts inside these "large" windmills are just too damn expensive and need

I usually make my own here, using the online recipe. But my mom did buy a box of the "Red Lobster" brand at Sam's and I fixed one pack of them at her house over the past weekend when I was there at lunchtime and there's definitely something missing in the "butter herb" when I make mine from scratch.

Last time I ate there, and it's been within the past year, I felt like it was overpriced Captain D's fare.

Just to clarify, they took it to wal-mart after the flat? Were the tires originally put on by Wal-mart? Department store based tire/auto centers, IMO, are a wretched hive of scum and villainy. They won't admit, much less fix, any issue they may have caused, nor will they try to rectify someone else's screw ups. Best to take it to a "tire store" that actually stands behind their work. My opinion of course.

Without the power of Facebook I'd never been able to spy on my ex's and smugly realize how much happier I am without them... if only she'd reply to my messages.. or call me.. or re-friend me..

Reminds me of something that happened a few months back. I was sitting in traffic on 120 in front of Briar Patch and noticed something on the back window of the car in front of me. I started honking my horn and waving, a girl jumps out of the passenger side and runs back looking at me and looking at the rear of the car, and I yell out, NO!! On your Window!! She looks up and grabs her iPhone that's been riding there for who knows how long. -
The origins lie in both pre-Christian religions and Christianity. In one way or another all the customs of Easter are a "salute to spring" marking re-birth. The word "Easter" itself comes from the name of the Anglo-Saxon goddess of spring, Eastre. A festival was held in her honor every year at the vernal (spring) equinox.

The truth hurts, and it's going to hurt military families the most. The military spends nearly 1 trillion dollars per year of the taxpayers monies. As much of the rest of America has had to learn to live within their means, the time has come for the US Armed Forces to learn as well. It's unfortunate that the first place THE Military is looking to cut is benefits/bonuses to the troops, the backbone of our Armed Forces. But like any bloated organization the first to suffer cut backs are the those who work there. Sorry it hits you and yours hard, if it were my personal decision the tr

I still use Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 I got in the late 90's, it was as feature rich as Photoshop at the time, and I still use it today for the speed of the program opening photos. Corel bought out Jasc and now sell PSPX or something but it's horribly slow and full of bloat now a days.

Another nail in the coffin for the 1 cent store.......

I'm in the same boat right now with some equipment I've ordered via online vs. going to the retail store and purchasing. One of the benefits is that I was able to apply discounts via the online ordering process that the store itself doesn't offer, then having it shipped to the store I've waived any shipping fee. Right now I've saved nearly $300 by doing this, the downside is that I'm at the mercy of their procurement of an extra unit and waiting on them to find space on the truck to send that extra unit to the store. This is all the while them having this product in stock already in the store, -
Wait what? No I don't do anything so vulgar, I just take my taters and stab them liberally with a knife.

People applying for jobs kill me!
Riptides replied to its mr sarcastic to you's topic in RECENT TOPICS
If you posted an ad online for employment be aware your ad could have been picked up by several of these "online" companies that promise users they can get them a job, the online sites themselves will match keywords in what folks fill out and what you have listed, don't matter if the job isn't even in the same realm of experience as the seeker has, and you may get bombarded with "resumes" that are all over the place as a result. Not to consider that the requirements for unemployment is the person receiving the benefits need to make so many applications, so there's that, someone just filli
