I think that it's time for out of the box thinking. I suggest joining him in his activity to see what is motivating him to obsess in this way. How can you say that only christians have "inner peace"? It's been my experience that the MOST conflicted, paranoid, and judgmental humans on this earth are religious types. How could it possibly be any of your business when people you DON'T KNOW fall in love and wish to marry? Do you realize how invasive your position is? Boycotts usually are not successful as an economic disincentive. They tend to make political staements which would only embarass people or enterprises with a sensibility for others, as opposed to ones self. Marriage is a state sponsored institution regarding legality. Marriage is a church affiliated institution only if the couple wishes to affiliate themselves with a particular religious brand. IN THAT CONTEXT, people making statements about disallowing gays to marry should be done in the context of the couple's relationship to the church brand.
