5-year Old Girl Has Only A Broken Arm In McDonnah GA
Teatime replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
This is why when my daughter broke her arm, I was a pain to the staff. I questioned everything that they gave her. I felt bad, but this is why. How terrible -
Take 2 minutes and 19 seconds to remember......

Thanks for sharing lady! Hope you're doing well. -
You have to get everything. Those little are very hard to get rid of. You have wash everything, vacuum everything on a consistent basis. It took me about a month of aggressively attacking them before our house was flea free. The salt works wonders, you just have to keep doing it. Eventually you will win the battle .. it's just a matter of being persistent. Once they're gone and you keep taking preventive steps, you shouldn't have anymore problems. We haven't seen a flea in years, and I hope it stays that way.

What Goes Around Comes ALL THE WAY Back Around
Teatime replied to Eddie Bennett's topic in RECENT TOPICS
That it does -
Sprinkle salt or borax on your carpet .. or both. Vacuum like mad. And wash everything. If you have pets, bathe them with blue dawn dish soap. We had an infestation years ago. We used these methods and with 4 dogs and 6 cats .. we haven't had a flea in the house since.

Anyone know of or have experience with people that
Teatime replied to anthonyr's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We donated a car to cars4kids a few years ago. We got a receipt and wrote it off on taxes. They came and picked up the no problem. -
We've been using At&t for almost 10 years now. We've had 2 incidences with them similar to yours. When we first got it set up and then a few years ago. One day we noticed they were in our neighborhood working on something. Not sure what it was, but their trucks were everywhere. All of a sudden our service would do what yours is doing now. It took us over 3 months to get it solved. We had 4 different people out here and they couldn't find anything wrong. They kept telling us that it was our router. We'll 3 months later, it magically fixed itself and the trucks in the neighborhood were gone.

I remember my grandfather and his sweet tooth. My grandma always yelling " AL, put that away " lol. I laugh because he would do absolutely ALL he could to sneak in his ice cream. It was like a little kid. He didn't die from diabetes, instead a stroke many years later. My father has managed to reverse his diabetes, with diet. He did it because he wanted to. My husband, doesn't have diabetes but will someday, no doubt. My hubby doesn't have a sweet tooth at all, just a slow as hell metabolism. That combined with a desk job, really sucks. He refuses to watch what he eats. I don't blame myself, a

Judge tells Paulding county to pay $265,113.68 instantly
Teatime replied to gpatt0n's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Never give up and congrats .. I'm very happy for you and your family -
Just wanted to add that we switched to a family practice doc instead of a pediatrician years ago. I got tired of my healthy kids coming home sick from waiting for hours in a crowded waiting room full of sick kids. We see Dr. Neau in Temple. Nice, open waiting room which is never even close to full and a MUCH less wait.
-
I was reading an article the other day about people starting to charge doctors who make them wait. Some doctors actually pay their patient or reduce fees if they are running behind. Time is money. They certainly charge us if we have to cancel. More people do need to stand up ... Good for you I'm sorry your son is in misery. My daughter had swimmers ear a few years ago. I know how painful it is

We're in S Paulding .. pretty nasty here

Whole foods or Trader Joe's would be so much better

Yikes! Glad we did our yard work a few days ago.

Spinoff, "As Seen on TV" what have you tried?
Teatime replied to jennilyn77's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I don't watch TV but I did get an advertisement for those in the mail. I thought it was a good idea, so I made my own. Still have them years later I would never pay full price though. Those are too easy to make for pennies compared to what they want. I got one of those for my daughter in her Easter basket lol. She LOVES that thing -
I don't see a problem with it My teen daughter wanted her nose pierced. I didn't like it but I took her down to get it done. 6 months later, she let it close up. It was a life lesson for her and we both won

Jungle Juice And Teen Blood Alcohol Levels Up To .4
Teatime replied to ButterflyLion's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I learned the hard way, just don't eat the fruit My oldest will be 21 this year. He has yet to drink anything with alcohol in it. Neither have my other kiddo's. Hubby and I drink beer occasionally at home. We don't hide, we don't bash it. It's not a forbidden fruit in our home. Nothing is " forbidden " .. we just educate our kids and they make wise decisions based on what they know. My kids are far wiser than I was at their age. If people spend time with their kids and teach them instead of preach at them .. they'd be amazed at what kids can do. -

Teatime replied to justgettingby's topic in RECENT TOPICS

Is it true what they say about minikirts after 35?
Teatime replied to justgettingby's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I lived in mini skirts until around the age of 28. I have since donated all of them. I'm still the same me .. I just don't feel they are appropriate anymore. I now wear my long, bohemian skirts and cotton tank tops. -
I want to say that my oldest daughter was diagnosed with ADD as a small child. Meds didn't work for her ... she's 25 now. When she was 19, they ran more tests. Turns out she never had ADD. She instead, has Autism. Aspergers, to be exact. If meds aren't working, I would be having more tests done.

My grandmother got melanoma on the bottom of her foot. She's also Cherokee Indian, not fair skinned. We don't use sunscreen in our home. I believe the chemicals in the sunscreen are more likely to give you cancer than the sun. Instead we wear light clothing and hats. While I believe we all should use caution. I also don't think smothering your skin with chemicals is the answer.

Amazon cuts advertising ties with Calif. websites over tax
Teatime replied to lotstodo's topic in RECENT TOPICS
California only hurt themselves. Amazon wins as do the people who sell on Amazon. Less competition means they can raise their prices. People are still going to shop from Amazon regardless. Even if they did tax, with free shipping and lower prices, it's a win, win. love me some Amazon. -
