^^^ I'll second & third them! Fantastic company. Everything I've ever done with them has been #1. Just one example: I had my wedding ring repronged with them, but every time I go to them for a new watch battery (long story, but it is under a policy which is free) upon checking out, they always ask to see my ring. They inspect it to ensure their work was still intact and ensure I am protected, plus clean it - NO CHARGE!

thanks ... I'm not into thumping so I'll just watch it

What information can you tell me about that? I have 2 on the same wrist - 1st which I've had for years which has never given me any problems (other than the rare "pain"), 2nd one which appears to be growing or is having some sort of irritation. If I have someone look at the 2nd one, what would I expect?

Donating to Charitable Organizations in Paulding
CreativeOne replied to Joejetzu's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Lots of organizations I support, most don't know me ..... I think you need to follow your heart to where you want to make a difference. Yes, even a small donation does help and it doesn't always need to be cash. Do you have "extra" can goods or other items such as cleaning supplies? Give to one of the food banks. Do you have "extra" clothes or home items? Thrift shops or to a shelter Do you have "extra" cash? All of them will find a way to find you. Do you have "extra" time? Again, I think any of the charities would welcome you for whatever you can give. Do you have old -
Our "average" billing went up about $20, so I won't complain after I have seen a lot of others posted here!

I agree .... very caring community. But it also makes me very sad to see that we have such a need for a list of these great groups.

Can I go too? I'm a very light packer and don't take up a lot of room, I promise!!! Why oh why would you ..... NM. Your decision, your situation. Contact LabMom -- She has a GREAT training program which is REALLY cheap & gets great recommendations! DANG .... Agree! I could complain, but then who would really care??!?!??!!??? -
I am so sorry to hear this! Make a police report. Report it to the store (you did). Contact the credit card companies, banks, etc .... and those credit agencies (all 3). Get a new license. I hope all she took was the cash (not that I want her to take your cash, but alternative is worse) and ditched everything else ..... $$^&$*^ Thief!

There are a lot of great meals tonight (well besides the McD's (sorry, not my taste tonight)) ... Do they make deliveries and how do I schedule them to show up here? We are having Reubens, Chips & Pickles - probably with some fresh cantelope as well.

Congratulations and Best Wishes!

Anyone have any good home made ice cream
CreativeOne replied to tranquility's topic in RECENT TOPICS
so ... who will let me come by and try the homemade ice cream? Love the recipes, need to get the mixer (or find somehow to make & freeze without one) -
I use a 1:5 ratio and my hummingbirds love it (1 sugar, 5 water - (The recipe actually came on the feeder years ago.)) Mix together & let come to a boil for 1 minute and cool to room temperature prior to refilling feeder. Scrub feeder thoroughly and rinse well. Do this at least 1 per week, more often if temps are high during the week as the recipe can "spoil" (gets cloudy). If the temps are above 90 during the week, more than 3 days in a row, I will replace mid week.

The one at the resort were not "expensive", they were just using standard PVC type loungers without caps on the ends -- easy to place in sand, under water or not But in a pool, I would want more protection on the ends to ensure they don't puncture - ocean/bay didn't matter. Thought ... get PVC type loungers/chairs and drill holes in legs for water to fill?
