Can you recommend a great Paulding hair salon?
bluebonnet replied to wedn03's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Will also suggest Peggy at Allon Salon. Been gong to her for about four years now. I just walk in and say, "Peggy, make me look HOT!" And she does! She is great with color. The best I have had. Actually what convinced me to go with her was color. I think she is closed on Sunday and Tuesdays. -
just got word South lost to Pope 20-14.

Are you kidding? They do it all the time! Several times a year at four way stop at Roses Store....I've seen them at several 4 way stops in the county over several years.....sports and church groups. Get away from me thighs, donuts!

First, I am sorry you are suffering. I spent over a year walking around on a dead bone and know how helpless and frustrating it can be to not be able to "fix" it. I only took 1/3 the pain Rx I was prescribed each day because, like you, I was so afraid of dependence. And....it's not my normal MO. I am so proactive about my health and wanted a solution-not a coverup. As long as you are truly looking for healing you will be fine. Just stay on the doctors and alternative options and don't give up or give in to the drugs. Also, reconsider chiro even with your bone conditions. All chiro

Let's talk about wasteful and extravagant spending

That was not county run. It was a personal company venture and lost money the last year or so of operation. -
It's a glorious Day! Actually, my car died right on Dallas Hwy .......at the light at Poplar Springs Rd! Couldn't get it started and was petrified I was gonna get rear-ended. LE officer came along and pushed me to safety and husband rescued me. People.....I ran out of gas............totally lost in my "to do" list and forgot to stop this morning. I sat in the sweltering heat for over an hour waiting on hubby. But I am blessed. The officer came back and checked on me, a second one checked on me, a sweet lady from a car repair stopped to see if she could help me and my husband left work t

Sorry Captain, but the sorry state of education was evident long before the furloughs....and several other counties have had to do furloughs. I would have a lot of suggestions for our local school board, but they can't be blamed for the national economy. Having said that, unfortunately, the best thing that could ever happen would be to get the federal govt out of our local schools and to a great extent get the state out. If you take their money, you become a slave to their rules. But then, admin would have to grow some and enforce discipline. I am in complete agreement with LPPT. Unti

Actually, I doubt Chik-fil-a would sponsor any kind of teen sex event. They would probably sponsor events discouraging premarital sex. AND IF ASKED ABOUT IT, would acknowledge such sponsorship. The fact is, he was ASKED about this particular event. Get a grip. Well said.....tolerance from one who I imagine has experienced much intolerance. Blessings. -
My daughter, Tara. She was killed in 2005. I miss her so.

Agreed. Very classy. Thank you for coming on here and owning up to the error.

Poll on Sen. Bill Heath's Plan to End Hope Scholarship
bluebonnet replied to Mason Rountree's topic in Paulding County NEWS
So........is he going to do away with HOPE? or with the Lottery? If just HOPE, what does Heath plan to do with Lottery funds? I need to add, I have never really understood the push to make HOPE only available to the poor. The "poor" (including those who make tons of cash under the table or those who are already living off the govt --sorry, I am jaded with what I see daily) have the PELL federal grant. And the Pell is not granted at all based on GPA. Any one who meets the financial criteria can get the Pell. The HOPE is a huge benefit to the "not poor enough or just too damned hones -
They forgot the STOP button for GAS!

When an employer withholds taxes on an employee, the employee gets the credit for all taxes withheld when they file their W-2 with their tax return. So to answer your question, Surepip (which I'm sure you know anyway), the rest of us taxpayers pay. I have seen a man go to jail for this crime....but it was back in the 1980s.

AARP is not an organization that I will support. Do a little research on them before "donating". Nothing they offer would entice me to give them my money.

We may not want evidence!

I don't think there will be much to worry about when it comes to political stuff....if the picnic is after the primaries. And Pubby, do we really need the ability to do the live feed? White Oak is really the perfect place...other than the technical stuff.

I was responding to your comment "If we can control this 78%, I (feelip) wouldn't be all concerned with the other 22%." To answer your question, those wanting a better life, willing to work and willing to do so without welfare, food stamps, and every other govt handout, are upon what this country was founded. I would encourage as many as we can welcome to enter legally and then I would demand our federal government either do it's JOB and enforce the guarding of our borders or get out of the way and allow the border states to do so. Instead the feds act like hypocrites turning a blind e

Seriously??? Even though that 22% includes the very people who hate the U.S. and are determined to destroy us? The 22% includes those with money and backing who are here to infiltrate and spy??? And it's not just jihadists.....there are Chinese, Russians, Pakastanis, Iraqis, Iranians, Syrians, Somalis, etc., etc. quietly going about the business of our destruction...and you are more concerned about the Mexican who wants a job...and is willing to WORK? Shameful.
