BooK: Man Who Abused His Wife For 30 Years Tells
bluebonnet replied to ButterflyLion's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Good for her! And you! She is fortunate to have somewhere to go. I was never around violence either. I have no memory of my Daddy ever laying a hand on me- (except that one time he thumped me on the head---but I deserved it ). Physical abuse would not be "normal" to me. But criticism was normal. Lying was not normal. Cheating was not normal. Why do some stay even if they didn't grow up around it? There are probably various reasons, but not feeling there is anywhere to go or feeling that they have failed if their marriage fails seem like logical reasons to some. My sister stayed i -

You didn't direct the question to me, but I'll share my experience. Once you've "seen the light" and recognize within yourself whatever caused you to accept abuse, you become ultra sensitive to that behavior in others. I was married for two years to a diagnosed sociopath (I later found out).....he lied about everything. He started our relationship telling me he was a widower. After we married and I was seven months pregnant, I found out he had left a wife and daughter in another state. I could write a book about all the adventures of living with a sociopath, but in short, I got out, got s -

Would this be a good policy for Pauldiing County schools as well?

I had to delete what I just typed.....too much detail....but after being threatened ("I"m gonna rape and kill you!") from a high school student, the admin tried to send the student back to the classroom. The teacher refused. I told her to contact law enforcement next time....skip the impotent admin! yes, this happened here in PC last semester. -

Back in the dark ages (the 1970's) when I was a teen, I made a decision. If a company wanted me to walk around advertising their clothing/shoes/accessories, they could pay me. I simply refuse to pay extra for a "status symbol". Now that I am older and have a little more disposable income, I am even more inclined to avoid status items. I do have brands that I prefer that are not cheap, but the name will not be plastered anywhere obvious. A & F owner can get away with this because the sheep will think they are cool by paying to advertise for him. Sad. -
In most situations, I would not answer this but the family has been very open with details. She suffered an asthma attack Sunday morning and did not survive it. The arrangements are at WestRidge

Powder Springs Residents Want to Lose Hiram Zip Code
bluebonnet replied to AustinPlantation's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Yes, but when they were assigned, much of the area was rural. I don't believe the economic benefit is still the same. And........I would be interested in knowing the number of homes and businesses that are located in Paulding yet have an out of county mailing address vs. the number out-of-county homes/businesses with a Paulding address. I believe far more Paulding homes and businesses have out-of-county addresses. A lot of software programs determine which county gets the sales tax based on the zip code. Of course, businesses will get it right for sales on location, but for items mailed, -

There are way too many Paulding addresses being delivered by Rockmart, PS, Acworth, Douglasville & Temple post offices. Why can the Dallas & Hiram PO's not deliver Paulding mail? It does cause a lot of confusion when you order by mail. The sales tax will go to the county of the mailing address-------9 times out of 10. It is time for an adjustment of this practice. -
Thanks for the info! Pcom is awesome.

My son says about four miles of Dallas Hwy/Whitlock is shut down and cops everywhere. Says he was detoured "halfway around Cobb County" trying to get to school (Southern Poly). Anyone got a scanner on?

It's just the beginning. Obamacare will result in millions of lay offs.

Spreading Oaks Farms I bought a half from here this past year and it is wonderful. No antibiotics/growth hormones. I can't remember the exact charge, but it is $2 or $3 per lb. hanging weight....which comes out to around $6 lb. for what ended up in my freezer. That is hamburger/steaks/roasts--everything. I was paying $6 per pound for just hamburger without the growth hormones & antibiotics, so a definite cost benefit if you are concerned about those things.

While I sympathize with the owner of the business, .....and trust me, I lay awake at night worrying about things like this, there are inexpensive ways to protect client info. I won't tell all our secrets, but alarms were activated before we ever moved anything into our building. All computers are password protected and tax and accounting programs have additional passwords. All data is stored on the server, so if someone was successful on breaking in and stealing a few computers, they likely wouldn't get the "one". We also have a continual external backup drive running that is swapped out

I'm sorry....been "doing the taxes" all day. Just got home and checked back in. Without having all the information, it's impossible to tell you whether your returns are being filed the best way. So many variables go into the equation. But it sounds like you got married last year? Now you have two people in one house, so the combined incomes put you in a higher tax bracket. Putting the mortgage interest on your return would not hurt you....it would help. Every itemized deduction lowers your taxable income. But honestly, I would have to look at the particulars to give you even close to a

Pension income is generally taxable income. How much will depend on the total income of the taxpayer.

VaxTruth I will continue to opt out......there may come a time I decide the risks of the flu are greater than the risks of the vaccine. I'm not there yet. And why are they still putting thimerasol in these things???? Even the "mercury free" has mercury. Please check out the website.
