I am hoping we have what we have had the past 2 Mondays. We got hard rain, but no hail, damage etc.

Where are you located? My Mama has a camera of my Dad's that is broken. She has been told it would cost more than the camera was worth to fix it. That was a couple of years ago. She just mentioned to me the other day that she still would like to get it fixed. TIA I googled and found you on Wylie Road, Marietta. Is this correct? If so, we may see you on Monday.

E-file Refund Time to Direct Deposit
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to mom2dachs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
My DIL E-filed her taxes and waited. When she checked in was in an error pile and had a number to call. The person she called went thru the taxes with her and found no error and gave her a date of 10 days later. After the 10 days she found it was in the to be done file and she still hasn't received her $$. I think this has been going on 2 months now. She hoped to have her $$ in time to do something with the kids on spring break. NOPE no $$. They camped out in the yard. LOL Just saying I wouldn't count on the money being there until the bank confirms the deposit. -
I love it!!!

It's just so hard to believe that the county took the librarys over public safety! Everything you say is true and sad that it happened. I just never thought Cobb County would do this. I'll take 2! When I married my hubby, (retired police officer) he was working many part time jobs. We have no kids at home and reduced our spending so that he wouldn't have to work them. I can not imagine how it will be for folks like Mr. Dis with kids and unexpected expenses that come up. The bottom line to me is that during my 30 years of working for Cobb, I felt

I went by there yesterday and the horse was there looking in the front window. I can't believe that this horse is in the same place that the OP posted on 4/11. Is it tied up there or what. The horse looked okay, but why would someone want to have a horse only to have them in the front yard looking into the house all the time.

License Plate Question and something I just found out
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to Mrs. Jack Russell's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Thank you for the info. I was hoping it would be that easy. Now if I can get my wrecked truck out of the body shop in time to get the emission test for the tag. I am hoping Days Chev can do the emission test for me while it's in there. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention here that a log truck took out the right side of my truck making a right turn. The dang logs on the truck were hanging out way to far. It was crazy, but the company is paying for my repairs. -
My husband mentioned to me and I agreed.....As hard as the husband tried, he couldn't get one teardrop to fall. I could be completly wrong about him, but I think he is guilty of her disappearance.

I remember a thread on p.com about the Vanity license plates, but I can't find it. So here is my question. If I want to opt out of the Wild Life Tag I have now do I just simply go to the tag office and tell them I don't want it anymore? I have searched the websites and can't find that answer. Yes, I will call later on today to ask. But while I was researching it I found information where Seniors Citizens with a vehicle older than 10 years do not have to have an emission test to get their tag. I am posting the info in case others didn't know this. Clean Air Force I didn't know how to

I think what Flossy is saying is that there is a hiring freeze NOW, not back in July. (The rest of my post is not in a reply to t-bird, but just info for the thread.) I found this ammusing on the Cobb County Government's FB page: Fitch Ratings gives Cobb highest rating for financial stability .by Cobb County Government on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 2:07pm.Fitch Ratings recently reaffirmed the county's excellent financial management efforts by giving the county's general obligation bonds its highest rating of AAA. "The county demonstrates strong long-term credit characteristics,

3 kids on dirtbikes trapped under car
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to C_Watkins's topic in RECENT TOPICS
For the sake of these kids and other kids in Paulding, I hope your topic is not moved or changed. Parents need to see this and if it is their kids, they need to discipline them and/or take the dirtbikes away from them. -
I have a question. The map on the video was hard to see. Can you tell us what areas in Paulding the new highway is supposed to go near/through? I have heard for years that Dabbs Bridge Road was going to be widened and used as part of a connector to I-75 and I am wondering if this is part of the project. Thanks for any info you have on this.

My sister got stung by a wasp that got under her glasses. It stung her near the eye. She was swollen so bad I called her the elephant man. She went to the ER. Not much they could do except give benadryl and watch her. She found out the hard way that she is allergic. I wonder if I am too because we are twins. Can you get epipens at the drug store or do you need a prescription?

What products do you use for fleas, ticks, heartworms, etc?
Mrs. Jack Russell replied to mom2dachs's topic in RECENT TOPICS
We are using Advantage Multi on Star. It's a once a month topical solution. It was what our vet suggested. The box states: Pervention of heartworm disease Kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment of flea infestations Treatment and control of hookworms, roundworms and whopworms For dogs and puppies 7 weeks of age and older and 9.1 to 20 lbs. I hope it works. We just started using it. We bought a years supply. Will Saben ever be 9 lbs? Maybe they make it for smaller dogs too. I know they do make it for bigger dogs. -
This might be too far for you, but there is one on Cobb Parkway between Hwy 92 and Black Acre Trail. About 2 miles from the Bartow County line. It is all flat.
