  1. Capris just look like "high waters" on me. I iz short.
  2. Sometimes I negate someone's asshole-ish vote.
  3. I saw Nikki Sixx on Kat Von D's show. Looking rough, and ridiculous with her. I am more concerned with a band's abilities than their looks. I recently saw Megadeth and Slayer. Sure, they all have more wrinkles and grays, but it was obvious who had aged well musically (Slayer, still as blistering as always) and who had not (Dave Mustaine). The latter can still play his ass off, but can't hit the higher registers any more.
  4. I'll do a load as needed any time, but mostly on the weekend unless I need something quickly. I have categories - towels, hand wash (cycle), gym clothes, dark, and whites. The husband does his work clothes separately.
  5. I cannot reuse towels or washcloths. Ew. I am so acne-prone and paranoid about what touches my face, that I even flip or replace pillow cases every night.
  6. Yeah, there were no workers anywhere. I asked my aunt who lives over there about it, and she said it is a definite revenue trap. I was passing a truck, too.
  7. The people I usually see doing at or below the speed limit cause the most unsafe conditions and near crashes. Next in line are the swervers and weavers. Or ass&*#@ drivers. And I drive downtown, so I see a lot of ridiculousness.
  8. Yeah, have fun with that on the interstates.
  9. Gym, chores, lunch with a friend I haven't seen in a while, chores, groceries, walking on SCT...I know how to PARYY!
  10. I wonder if that's worse than my neighbor revving his motorcycle for over an hour.
  11. I agree about court, but how many people can afford to take off work to do that? And the last one, luckily it was only $56. He said it was the cheapest ticket he'd ever gotten. The one in AL was...$160? Somewhere around there. It was just low enough for me to find it not worth taking off work to go to AL.
  12. Ha. I just had to have pancakes after some dental work. Extra syrup helped, but I regretted it later. Yay for pain meds.
  13. I do the same thing with my husband's old phone! I have iPhone envy. I've only had my LG Xenon for a little over a year, but had the one before it for about 4 years. The browser leaves a lot to be desired, but it will do in a pinch. Usually.
  14. There are belts/levels in Krav Maga, but not as often. We do have to pay the testing fees. ETA: whatever you do, don't go to this guy:
  15. Still no longer behind you. But I don't act like an asshole about it and ride your ass and swerve. I hate that, especially when I'm already speeding. Speed traps, they are everywhere. Got into one in Talladega. Workers present, my ASS. Husband just got a ticket in Gwinnett (I HATE going there) for following too closely after a woman cut him off, then slammed on her brakes when she saw the cop. He tried to explain, but the cop wasn't having it. Husband said he'd have gotten a speeding ticket if not for the biotch, but that would have at least been fair and not pissed him off.
  16. Hey, don't get smug about getting passed, then stopped at a light. at least they are no longer behind YOU!
  17. I guess I can see 55 mph on 278, in certain areas. But...on 75S? Ridiculous.
  18. Gah. Eaten or not, there's no need to make them suffer.
