Considering Disney Vacation for 20th anniversary July 2009
Riograce replied to wenfen's topic in RECENT TOPICS
What *is* your budget? As several others have stated, Orlando in July is HOT. Are you absolutely set on Disney? If so, I wish you luck. If not, go to the AAA South website and look for vacation packages - I'd bet you'd be able to find some nice, *cooler* places for less than $1000. I've found good deals on Orbitz and Priceline, too. -
I thought the KMart/Kroger shopping center would be considered Jimmy Lee Smith ... 278 becomes "Atlanta Hwy" further west. Is there a Kroger further down 278 that would still be considered in Hiram?

I'm sure the woman's family would like to know, too ... and it wouldn't hurt to get his unit info if possible so that his CO could be notified.
-
Yeah, none of those things could ever kill him.

You still haven't stated HER objection. Until we know why *she* doesn't want you to have one, we can't answer you. My HH has made noises about getting a motorcycle some day. I have no problems with him having one, provided his car is paid off AND he goes through the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's riding course. But I can understand why a woman with young children would be reluctant to encourage their father to ride a bike - it can be *very* dangerous.
-
Yeah, that one makes me crazy, too.

The man already has a home that has been adapted for his use - AT NO COST TO HIM OR HIS FAMILY - so I don't see a problem.

I always use Showers of Flowers in Lithia Springs, but keep in mind that ANY florist will be farming out your order to another florist local to the funeral home. You can only hope that the florist you *do* contact thinks the one *they* call does good work.

I passed what appeared to be a two-car accident at this intersection about 30 mins. ago. A van/SUV was on its side in the middle of Ridge Road, and another vehicle was nose-down in the ditch across the street. I didn't notice the make/models of the vehicles involved. SO was on the scene but paramedics were not. I hope everyone involved is OK. If you know anyone who might have been in that vicinity around 9pm or so, you may want to check the scanner archives.

I took driver's ed in high school in the mid-70s - coaches were the instructors and the cars were supplied by local dealerships. I'm sure there was a fee, but I don't remember what it was because my parents paid for it. The two electives that they insisted I take in HS were typing and driver's ed. That said, I am completely AGAINST driver's education being subsidized by the schools. Teaching children to drive - or ensuring that children are taught to drive - is 100% the responsibility of their *parents*. If it costs money and takes time, then so be it - children are neither inexpe

Whoa. The OP was posting about *foreclosures*. The homes to which he/she was referring are now owned by entities, not individuals, so I don't necessarily see a "neighborly" obligation here. If the banks want to unload their properties, seems to me as if it would be in their best interest to keep them up (duh!), but that's JMO. As for your situation, I would think your *realtor* would be willing to help keep your yard up, for the same reason: a cared-for home is more attractive to potential purchasers than one that is not. If that means he/she gets out and cuts the grass a couple o

You're welcome - I know what it's like to have one's name spelled in an ... amusing way.

I had never heard of Sola Salons, so I looked at their website - neat concept. But did you realize the Kennesaw directory has your name misspelled?

Hope there's some left by the time I can get by there ....

Lavender Dreams Sugar Scrubs Pine Tar Blackberry Sage You got some goodies!

It had to be the Monkey Farts, which actually smells delicious, BTW. I don't have all her fragrances, but I have *nearly* all of them.

Yup, IGF products are THE BEST! Did you get any lotion? If you didn't, try that next time - it's wonderful and moisturizing without being slick and greasy. Her scrubs are great for exfoliating, I love the Spa Salt bar for shaving, and her Pine Tar soap is my favorite treatment for bug bites. Can you tell I'm a fan? What fragrances did you get?

Ugadawgs98 is a police officer, so I'm guessing he's speaking from *experience*. And there's a big difference between a wedding crowd where HALF the attendees are quite young, and a grad party where ALL the attendees are quite young. Different demographic altogether. For a long time now, there have been news stories EVERY YEAR about graduation parties turning into shoot-outs, so this is nothing new. Perhaps that's what Ugadawgs meant when he stated that the host should have been aware of the possibility of trouble. I hope the young victim is doing much better today, and that t

That's not the change ... D/L offices have been closed on Mondays for many years. The sole exception to that *was* the Capitol office, but even they went to Tuesday-Saturday several years ago. The primary changes are extended hours on Tuesday-Friday, and shortened hours on Saturday. Some offices will go to a four-day week and will be closed on Saturdays.
