Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, 2 June 2009, your driver's license office of choice will have new hours of operation. Those hours will vary according to location, so if you have any upcoming business at a D/L office, please go to the DDS website and research the hours for that particular office *before* you drive over there and are surprised, disappointed and/or ticked off. FREE SUMMER SIZZLE PACKAGE $37.50 LAST DAY
Riograce replied to partiesbykellys's topic in Business NEWS
What is a catalog party? -
If you ever get a Georgia/Alabama flag, lemme know.

The report indicates that the child is also in the company of her mother, so perhaps it wasn't initially seen as an abduction. If this little girl is indeed in danger of further abuse or worse, I hope she's found SOON. I hope the little brother is all right, too.

Pubby, can you find out something about this and post it? A missing 8-year-old girl (Isabella Petty?), possibly in the company of a 30-year-old man (Jerry Phagan?), last seen in a red Ford Taurus in the vicinity of Williams Lake Road. I'm reasonably certain about the names given, but the sound quality wasn't that great. I just got this call about 5 minutes ago from the PCSO.

Traffic Light Cams on the Way Out
Riograce replied to thatboyaintright's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Yeah, let's give the scofflaws even more rope with which to hang the rest of us. The entertainment factor of riding with inexperienced drivers who are surrounded by careless, reckless, inattentive and just plain discourteous drivers is WAAAY overrated. -
May 26th-29th Drivers Ed at West Metro Driving School
Riograce replied to nmomtahan's topic in Business NEWS
I hope Nancy will forgive this small hijack of her thread .... If you have a 15-, 16- or 17-year-old who will be applying for his/her permit or license this summer, PLEASE remind him or her to obtain a certificate of attendance (DS-1) before school "closes" for the summer! These are *required* for anyone under age 18 who has not yet graduated from high school. (A HS grad must provide his/her diploma as proof of exemption.) Most schools do keep abbreviated office hours during the summer, so it's not impossible to get a DS-1 when school is out, but why go through the hassle wh -
I love the paraffin hand treatments that my salon of choice provides FREE with any service.

On what planet is 34" an EXTRA LARGE?!? Never mind ... I know the answer: Planet Taiwan. (Thanks, anyway.)

What are the bust measurements on these?

Mower MANIA! They are just pouring in over here!
Riograce replied to subby1's topic in Business NEWS
Subby, do you have a trailer for picking up riding mowers, or do people have to get them to *you*? My HH has had to have his John Deere worked on a couple of times, but the closest guy is up in Cartersville or something. And we don't have a trailer, either. Just wondering, for future reference. -
Wow. Sucks to be you. (I'd love to have that 3K voucher - would go a long way towards our England-someday trip!)

You're out of touch - the driving test has been administered on a closed course AND on the road for several years now. Your Friendly Neighborhood License Examiner

Good luck with that - heck, we're lucky to have the folks we have NOW! Nope - you have to meet certain *attendance* requirements. And, IMO, school attendance is completely irrelevant in determining whether or not a teen can drive. I'd love to see that requirement go away. Your Friendly Neighborhood License Examiner

Thanks for answering my question. I always feel sorry for "Easter" chicks and bunnies - so many of them have sad endings when people don't "need" them any more.

What will you do with the bunny after Easter?

Shots like this always make me cringe - I've had too many ankle/knee/leg injuries in my life. BTW, I wonder if they know that there's a Scottish band named The Soundtrack?

I suspect you're talking about people (mostly women, perhaps?) who are *dabbling* in a business rather than actually *running* a business. These are folks who saw a home-based business as the ideal way to make some extra money while being a SAHM, working their primary job, etc. Trouble is, you have to devote time and effort to ANY job if you want to be successful with it, and they are unwilling or unable to do that. People who really NEED and WANT your business *will* court you - the others are just dilettantes.

I was wondering what had happened to you - welcome back! -
Lots of people are a little uncertain about massages ... for example, they think they have to get nekkid to get one, when that's actually not true. Maybe you could post a FAQ about massage in this thread or a new one. It might find you some clients who wouldn't have contacted you otherwise.

You should send Sage a PM.
