  1. Your are correct they close at 7:00. They close at 7:00.
  2. I'm not sure he would favor one area over another, but I do know the East corridor gets a lot more voice than us low life Westsiders. I realize there are more people over there but when it takes 2 years to complete a repaving project (before the financial crisis), something is wrong. Does anyone else remember the horrible condition Hwy 101 was in for so long. Heck the bump you have to go over when crossing Pleasant Grove Road from Masonic Drive or Woodrow Kay Road is horrible. I assure you no one in the Cedarcrest are would tolerate that for very long. Look at the Union and Yorkville
  3. I use my gas grill to bake all the time. I put foil or a cookie sheet under the cast iron or stainless steel pan I'm using and just let it cook over medium heat, a little slower for turkey or chicken so they cook through without drying out. I have never used it to bake a cake or make corn bread but for the main meat and veggies it works great. I use it just like my oven, nothing special, no closing off stuff, just let it bake.
  4. WAFL, I'm sorry this happened to you and your little one. I'm even more sorry you got so scared by a Bully, that was absolutely uncalled for. I guess it might matter who you know.
  5. Tough call for sure, I only know positively who I'm not voting for. Bullies don't get my vote. Same here, There are a couple I won't know til that screen is in front of me.
  6. Does the pump work?? If not you may have to have someone come out to get the water for the test. It has to be in a sterile container, UGA Extension Office may be able to provide you with this. They can't get a good read on the water in a contaminated vessel. If the water tests good then you can have someone come out to do any necessary repairs.
  7. So is this not negative campaigning on Stout's side?? Seems like tit for tat to me.
  8. I think I'm leaning that way as well. I'm sick of the friends of friends, the good ole boys.
  9. Hmmm, sorry I just jumped in there without thinking. So DOT, do you have copies of both? If there are two different flyers would you care to post them for us to see?? And how do I know if David Barnett is really concerned about us rural people??
  10. :clapping: :clapping: Thank you!! I have real issues with our area (Yorkville) being shoved out and off to the side because we aren't as "elite" as those in the Northern Corridor of transplanted, looking for cheaper taxes, wanting all the "extras" because they are entitled to it, people!! I left that section of Paulding a long time ago because of the sheer number of people moving in. Hello, we're out here too.
  11. It splits when it hits Yorkville, it spit one little shower yesterday. Lots of clouds and thunder but no rain to speak of.
  12. I'm with you BP, I have no idea what's going on. If there was a "story" on WSB could someone please give us the link. Thanks.
  13. The tunnels should be completed, I think we need new and better leadership on the building side..........it seems someone has dropped the ball.
  14. I just hope they clean them up Wednesday............all of them.
  15. ~~~sigh~~~ And the beat goes on and on and on. Let's take up a collection and build a KKK memorial across from the White House, after all we can build a building anywhere we want can't we??
  16. It was nice while it lasted but as some said it got ridiculous. I'm glad to see someone is using their head and realizing the state is broke. We can't afford to let tax free days happen right now. Besides most of my internet purchases don't charge me sales tax anyway, shipping is usually very affordable or even free. I save the 7% and the gas.
  17. Mrs Jack Russel should know. She has been to Tanner as well as several other state parks. Maybe she'll chime in. As far as the firewood, they sell it there but it is pricey. There are several people around the county that have wood for sale. Not sure where you live but there are a couple in Hiram and one on 381 going North not far past the turn for the Sheriff's office. Nothing like a good ole campfire to roast marshmallows or make s'mores. Yum!!
  18. It's all good!! I never thought you were talking to me personally, I understood completely. I didn't give you a negative, in fact I think those rating things are a little childish.
  19. The park is nice, campsites are very close together. We brought a large canopy in case of liquid sunshine. Fishing Poles for the kiddos, firewood if you want a fire. The showers are very warm, especially during the summer.............and don't forget the bug spray.
  20. Thank you for posting this. Someone needs a job.
  21. That was good, except for the comment about PT.
  22. No scanner here, praying everything is OK.
  23. Military personnel get the best deals. If you know someone that is in the military :yahoo: :yahoo: see if they can help you. And you might want to thank that special soldier for other things as well.
