  1. Orange roughy with tomato relish on top (silver turtle style), cous cous, garden green beans and swiss chard. Then it's off to boot camp tonight.
  2. I did this trip this morning - it's actually quicker if you go up 381 to Cedarcrest - turn left into 7 hills and go that way. It was about 7 minutes quicker. !
  3. You got your FIRST dishwasher ever as a house warming gift, too. Remember me trying to tell you how to load it and convincing you that it was supposed to be that quiet. ! You all are good people. And, you give much more than you have ever received from us. A whole truck load?????
  4. I deal with it on occassions. The medicines all made me so loopy and it happens infrequently enough that I don't take the meds. First - be sure that you don't have an inner ear problem. I have/had meinnere's disease (diganosised in VA, GA docs don't think that's what it is). But, I still will occassionally have issues. Watching my fluid rentention and my allergies seem to be the best cure. Also, the chiropractor is a huge help if nothing else works. In the immediate moment, I close my eyes, lean against a wall, and just try to counterspin in my mind so that I eventually st
  5. My parents told me that they don't need me anymore - if they had known how much more fun the grand kids were, they would have skipped us. I said, ummmm.

  7. And, everything tonight except the meat was on a plant no more than 12 hours ago. !
  8. Everything will be on the grill - steak, shrimp, patty pan squash. The green beans will be in the pressure cooker. The swiss chard will be steamed. I might do some sort of salad - I have enough vegetables right now to feed an army.
  9. I've been happy with Kauffman in Hiram. They do all of that. I don't know the total cost because I bought tires there (rotate and balance is free then). But, the oil change was about $25.
  10. I'll take a margarita. And, i rearranged my office about 2 months ago - moved some furniture out of the office and into the living room. Now, I'm madly ebaying all the stuff that has piled up on the other desk. Unfortunately for the rearranging - my primary desk was designed and built to go in my office in one particular way and it's bolted to the wall - no real rearranging. But, cleaning - I could do that. But, first, I must put these items up on ebay. BTW, i finished the swig of bourbon that was left (added a little diet coke). Now, it's time to see what else is in the cabinet tha

Sniff, sniff...hope you aren't talking about me. !
  12. She's beautiful. I see the family resemblance. ! I hope she enjoys the books. Please let me know if there are any others that she might be interested in. !
  13. Happy person and squeaky clean after shower with the lemon soap. I love the lemon soap - have to get through all of our stored stuff - but I love to sneak in a 1/2 bar of the lemon soap.
  14. Girlfriend - I've seen you in your bathing suit = and you look AWESOME!!! I'm okay in my skin. I realize that I'm really not the body I'm in. But, I'm working on the body. Hopefully by the end of the year, the body will catch up with the reality of me.
  15. My mortgage got bought by GMAC - jerks to work with - every other year we have issues with them about our home owners insurance. Be on the lookout for that scam - they try to get $4k out of us
  16. Impressive is all I've got to say - in the most awe inspired voice that I have. My son that backpacks is in great physical condition and doesn't have the issues that you have. He carries a 30lb pack and I don't think would even begin to try to do that kind of day - all of the activities - heck yea. But, that 15-20 miles - that might even make him blink (he's awfully adventurous). ! Good luck. You should be tired at the end of that day. And, you take the kind of vacations that my family like to take. Thanksgiving break was spent doing - probably - the hike that you're doing
  17. You're going to hike 15-20 miles in a day - dear God - you have got some energy. Our high adventure bunch in our troop hikes no more than about 8 miles in a day - they did 10 miles in a day once in an emergency. In your case - their crock pot recipes will work wonders for you. If you have an oven and frig - you could do foil cooking - a few veggies and spices over the chicken breasts - wrap in foil tightly and then bake (or put over coals/grill).
  18. I have a friend that adopts in a simliar manner - she has a totaled of 38 adopted children that are all in large sibling groups. Her kids are not necessarily special needs kids by a traditional definition, but they have special needs simply because of what their birth parents heeped upon them as small children. Given what I know from her and her experiences, these kids need every once of love and support that we all can give them. Not only do they have their own needs and previous baggage, but this event has probably undone and deepened wounds that were beginning to heal. I just can'
  19. What is your availability of cooking utensils? That will change my answer. Are you cooking in a kitchen - campfire - charcoal grill???
  20. I work in the field of intellectual property. And, quite frankly, anyone that sells this kind of merchandise, in my opinion, is just rolling the dice until they get caught. Because I am a licensed patent agent, I would NEVER knowingly carry a knock off purse because it would cost me my license. Not worth it. I actually avoid designer bags except at the original manufacturer purchase because I don't know if it's really or not. I'm not educated enough. I do have two coach bags - one was a gift, one I've purchased. I've had them 16 and 15 years as this point. I carry one of them about ye
  21. Thanks - I can build a computer, I can fix most of them, but I can't seem to embed a youtube video correctly. !~
  22. Thanks to 1Novella for the phone call - Check out the latest -
  23. Brined pork chops, fresh corn, some kind of salad, some kind of starch
  24. No, he didn't. But, his stern look might last for a while. ! And, I'm thinking about making them cough up for the service call. It sure wasn't my fault. Nothing in the pile was mine. He laughed when I showed him the basket on the dryer full of stuff that I've gotten out of the washer and dryer. Impressive collection.
