I would take the farm - I will never, ever live in another subdivision. This one has been wonderful - but the horror stories are out there. You can put a line of trees along the back of the property and block alot of the sound. But, what you're describing me wouldn't bother me in the list. You'll know it when you find the right place. Yes it can - but the fact is that the most likely path of "cross contamination" in a single animal is going to be through human contact. Most farms now concentrate on one species of animal. The species that goes between both will probably be the human caretaker. And, there is the possibility that a human could be the host for the mutation. That's was my posting too - couldn't get here quick enough - reading on one computer - posting on a different one. Not only can the vaccinated be suspectible - but that also enables his point about the two viruses mutating into one. This is a very scary situation. And, self quarantine is definitely an option. We won't stop doing anything we normally do - but we probably won't be doing any large group stuff for a while - concerts, movies, etc. It's really just not worth it.

I make a list - then I mark the ones that absolutely have to get done on a deadline. Then, I alternate the little jobs with the big jobs. I like that sense of satisfaction of crossing something off. And, I, like you, have a very long list right now. Going to be a busy week.

We had the same thing happen to a young man when we went to work on the skating merit badge for Boy Scouts. He ended up with surgery, but it was handled well and all is good - he's back to full speed. !

Folks - as long as we have the government in our health care - they are going to make health care decisions for us. And, yes, vaccinations can be seen as a health care decision as it pertains to preventing higher costs down the road. And, we will probably vaccinate. My oldest wants to particpate in the youth trials. We take alot of precautions in this family because we have several family members with severe chronic health issues. We can't afford for the healthy to bring it home and if they get it, we can't afford for the healthy to get sick too.

If we get obama care - there won't be any choice. Then we'll all be getting whatever there is to be given. Something to think about - they may pay for everything - but that also means they get to define what everything is.

Hain no sodium baking power is at Harry's and at some of the larger Krogers - the last time we looked -the Whitlock avenue store had it. Be warned - it's only a single acting baking powder whereas what we use is normally double acting. Put it in at the end before adding the liquid and get it in the oven quickly.

Stay on the outside aisles of the grocery store -- you're gonna have to avoid anything that is pre-packaged and canned. Frozen is usually good unless you're looking at prepared meals such as tv dinners. My mom is in a similiar spot as you - she's been doing low salt/low fat for about 20 years due to kidney disease. Took youngest to his soccer game - he played great - scored a goal (he's a keeper so that's a good day if he gets to come out of the goal) and he got an AMAZING black eye (elbowed by another player). Then, we went running to the golf tournament for scouts. There I received the most amazing gift - the job of watching the hole side of the hold in one for the car hole. The insurance required that someone be at the tee box and someone be at the hole. It was so quiet and peaceful. There was a slight breeze. To go golfing!!! Let me tell you - 1Novella has been telling you all about our scout golf tournament at West Pines in Douglasville today. And, to be honest, we're not feeling the p.com love at this point. BUT!!!! Last night, we got all the gift bags and the door prizes together. And, you all need to come golf with us today.
