I searched my name and Olive Garden and found at least 3 other thread where I have stated that the Olive Garden sucks!
-
Oh yippee, another crappy chain in Paulding County. Olive Garden has to be the worst freakin' excuse for Italian food, ever. And don't tell me that you go because of the salad and breadsticks. Honestly, the last time that I went to an Olive Garden, I was served FREEZER BURNT ravioli. Delicious! Oh well, ya'll can stand in line with the rest of the sheep and wait 90 minutes to be seated for your salad and breadsticks. You would be BETTER off. Stouffers is better.

They are not, nor have they ever been, open for lunch. Brunch on Sunday is the only exception.

Aspens in only as expensive as you make it. With the Early Bird menu, it can be quite affordable. If you are looking or a local restaurant to celebrate, that is a little nicer than the rest, Aspens is a very good choice. Short of going to Ruth's Chris, Chops, Bones, etc., you won't find a better filet. It is, by far, our favorite restaurant for an "adult" night out that is nearby. On the OP, I have always enjoyed the Olive Tree.

Somebody needs to photoshop a laptop in his non-defending hand, instead of a football.

My wife graduates from the first ACCREDITED class, this June. She has been very impressed with the program. It is a very hard curriculum and has been much more work than I would have ever guessed. Their clinicals are with Wellstar and Egelston. The cost of this program is unbelievably cheaper than Kennesaw or West Georgia. I don't know how we could have afforded to send her to KSU or UWG. I say "go for it". You are not going to be a Guinea pig. Accreditation cannot happen until the first class reaches a certain point and submits their class scores. Trust me, the State of Georgia runs t

PLACES TO EAT AT ST. SIMONS........ST. MARYS?
chainshaw1 replied to lowrider's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Beachcomber BBQ on St. Simons. http://www.beachcomberbbq.com/ I love the place and if you watch Alton Brown on Food Network, you will hear him talk about them, too. -
You, sir, don't know a damned thing about what you are talking about. Stop by and see Sam. He will be more than happy to discuss with you how much profit that he makes from the county. I have done this and it surprised the hell out of me. Sam Clark is not one of the "good ole boys". In many cases, he has been at odds and actively worked against some of the established politicians in this county. He is one of the most honest and repsectable men that I know. He does more for Paulding, out of love for this county, than I can explain.

That is pure and utter BS, Pubby. You can't speak for Republicans as a whole any more than you can speak for Democrats as a whole.

100 hours of mandatory community service. I could see how you would want to "forget" that. Go ahead, vote her in. I am sure that she will do us all "proud". By the way, my donations have been small and in cash. I can't afford much, but I will support the better candidate in this race.
-
The Republican Caucus isn't going to throw a party for a Democrat. He needs to raise money to run against anyone in the Good Ole Boy network in this county. I don't blame him a bit for accepting the invitation to do this. Dubose Porter is an honorable man and his supporters helped to arrange this. Once again I will say that I am a Conservative and I am voting for Will Avery. I plan on voting Republican/Libertarian in every other race, but this one.

Who here uses Sprint as their cell carrier?
chainshaw1 replied to greg30127's topic in RECENT TOPICS
I live at 120/92 and my coverage is great. I really have not had many problems with Sprint in the 10 years that I have been with them. The pricing and packages are tough to beat. -
Campaign Kick Off Party for Will Avery
chainshaw1 replied to surepip's topic in Paulding County NEWS
Good to see some fellow Republicans there, last night. Surepip's stew was pretty good, too. Will is good people. We can always vote his butt out if he doesn't do as he says. I just know that he is head and shoulders above our other choice in this race. -
burning of Qurans on Sept. 11 by a Florida church
chainshaw1 replied to Coppertop's Pop's topic in RECENT TOPICS
Just what we need. Some bonehead getting some good footage on national TV and the internet to help some radicals recruit and give them more bulletin board material to kill our troops. Pure publicity stunt for the church that will have some unfortunate results for our military members. -
I am picking up my tux pants, tomorrow. After losing almost 30 pounds, she is taking them in for me. Really nice folks and prices are very fair.

Car manufacturers put the pressure in the door that best suits THEIR needs. The Ford Explorer was a prime example of why I don't listen to the manufacturers suggestion. They recommended 26psi for years, because it helped them pass the rollover tests. It turns out that the low pressure was a big reason that the tires kept blowing on those vehicles. Unfortunately, Firestone caught the lion's share of the blame.

Some of the vendors were a little pricey and some were not. Stubb's BBQ Sauce has a booth set up and it is all you can eat for FREE. Chopped brisket sandwiches and smoked sausage. It is pretty darned tasty, too. If you get there after the actual competition, today, a lot of the competitors will let you sample their Que for free.

We parked at the Depot and it was not a bad walk at all. Left at 9pm and missed the rain. I met some great folks that were competing. I enjoyed talking to them about the million different ways that everyone makes their craft. I am pretty sure that I overdosed on pork butt and beef brisket, but if I gotta die, what a way to go! My favorite BBQ and the best name for a team was "The Pig Lebowski".

Mencia is a comedy hack. Saget is actually VERY funny, but VERY crude. I would love to see him live.

Letter to Paulding teachers and residents from Will Avery
chainshaw1 replied to willavery's topic in Paulding County NEWS
I think that Paulette should come on here and answer some of these questions, too. You will quickly see who the better choice will be. Point of sale taxes work. SPLOST certainly helps this county. -

After Paula stood on my doorstep and degraded my friend, Kim Cobb, I will not be voting for her. Kim had nothing to do with this election and should not have had anything to do with her run for this seat. As much as I was upset about the way that Daniel Stout had handled his situation, I still voted for him. Will Avery will be my choice in November. I have not voted for a Democrat in over 10 years, but I believe Will is about to change that.
