  1. tourist shot with arrows That whole "get shot with arrows and your girlfriend gets raped" issue is lurking, too.
  2. http://ecocentric.blogs.time.com/2011/06/10/australia-killing-camels-for-carbon-credits/ The only real solution here is to start killing camels.
  3. Academy is great. I can't wait. Also, Sports Authority may want to just start packing up, now.
  4. That would be her and yes I will meet you Wednesday at pinning.
  5. The light goes on! Da'Rae goes to Chattahoochee? My wife has gotten to be very good friends with her over the last two years. Very proud of her and the rest of the girls who have had a very rough go of it with this first class in the nursing program.
  6. Thanks to everyone. I should have enough copies, now.
  7. Ask for the customer retention department.
  8. Comcast is way faster than DSL and they are running some specials right now. Call them and tell them that you want the $35 per month for HSI Blast or you will leave for AT&T. They will lower your price. I just left AT&T and will never go back.
  9. If you could both PM me your info, I will pick them up tomorrow. Thanks!
  10. Does it have a picture of Andy's tattoo inside?
  11. I need a couple of copies of the Sunday Final sports section from today. I have a couple of the first edition, but the story that I want has some new pictures in the final edition. Can someone help a brother out?
  12. http://www.ajc.com/sports/atlanta-thrashers/thrashers-may-die-but-967415.html Most of you have heard this before, but I never get tired of people hearing the story of my amazing wife. This will be on the front of the Sports section of the Sunday AJC.
  13. I concur. We had another outstanding dinner, tonight.
  14. Well, it's done. In 5 years, the Winnipeg Whatevers will be losing money and looking to move, but none of that matters now. The NHL made their $60 million on this deal, they made $25 million from the taxpayers of Glendale, AZ, and the Atlanta Spirit Group will now only have the NBA team that they wanted from the beginning. The only people that lose are the fans that have poured their heart, soul, and hard-earned money into this team. All of the haters will pile-on and talk about how hockey doesn't belong in the South, but the reality is that not everyone likes to watch rednecks turnin
  15. Simply not true. I was at both of the playoff games and the place was packed to the rafters. SOLD OUT. I have been to almost every major sports playoff and NOTHING compared to the atmosphere in Philips for those two games against the Rangers.
  16. We had almost 19,000 for the playoff games. The average that year was over 16,000. They are going to an arena in Winnipeg that only seats 15,000.
  17. After the way that all of this has went down, I will NEVER spend another dime on anything NHL. The whole damned league can go bankrupt for all that I care. They have used this situation to pay the owners for the horrible decisions made in Phoenix. And after the Canadian media has constantly ridiculed my home, my team, and my fellow fans, they can choke on their Poutine. I was there in 2007 when we had a playoff team. We averaged over 16,000 per game. Hockey can work here, but it needs commitment from the owners and the fans. The Atlanta Spirit was never committed. I was there for all of it
  18. Nobody on here has really talked about it, so I will bring it up. My wife and I have had season tickets to the Atlanta Thrashers for the last 9 years. I literally credit the Thrashers for saving my marriage. We had so few common interests, that when we realized that we both loved to go watch hockey games, we jumped on the opportunity. For the last 9 years, date night has been at Philips Arena. Hockey has meant so much, that at one point, my wife donated a kidney to a fellow season ticket holder that she didn't even know. Now, try to tell me that our fans are not passionate! Now, I
  19. Judgement is spelled exactly that way. Noun 1. judgementjudgement - the legal document stating the reasons for a judicial decision; "opinions are usually written by a single judge" legal opinion, opinion, judgment legal document, legal instrument, official document, instrument - (law) a document that states some contractual relationship or grants some right concurring opinion - an opinion that agrees with the court's disposition of the case but is written to express a particular judge's reasoning dissenting opinion - an opinion that disagrees with the court's disposition of the case m
  20. We file judgements against homeowners that don't pay their dues. Unless bankruptcy is filed, the judgement follows the person until it is paid. The mortgage companies can pay the dues and take the money back in escrow, like insurance and taxes. Foreclosure over unpaid dues is very rare. The banks have first right to any money from foreclosure sales and there is hardly ever money left for homeowners dues. You really have no worry about foreclosure over dues, but it is a good indication that the mortgage may not be getting paid.
  21. If gas continues to rise. My job will be in jeopardy. I have to drive 30-40,000 miles per year. I cannot afford to keep working if gas is $4 or more per gallon. Electric cars and hybrids do me no good as I am on the highway most of the time. In order for mass transit, bicycles, walking, etc. to help, we would all need to sell our houses and move toward the city centers and jobs.
  22. I watched it on TV, last night. CBS to be exact. You know, they still do report things on the air. No link and no reason to lie to you. He is dead and that hasn't changed. It was before the President's speech.
  23. The media was reporting that he had been dead for a week in their haste to bring the story before everyone else.
