  1. First of all, Jason is not on this site. Nor will he be with crap like this. I don't know what you are up to Whitey, but you really are sounding like you have an axe to grind. I am not a member of Jason's campaign staff. I am merely trying to help a friend and good man get elected to help MY county in it's future success. If he would ask me to knock on doors or hand out his literature, I would gladly do so. I will work diligently to get him elected. Jason resigned from Doraville to raise a family and move to Paulding. If you know something different, say it. Jason works with legisl
  2. I know Jason and think very highly of him. He is a man of his word, a family man, and sincerely wants to contribute the success of Paulding County. He has experience as a councilman and Vice Mayor of The City of Doraville. He was chiefly responsible for getting the Police Chief his job back when the Mayor fired him while he was away serving in Iraq. Also, because of his current work with State Legislators, he has many very good relationships at the Capital that will assist him in his endeavors with the Paulding County Board of Commissioners. Jason also has a Masters Degree in Regional
  3. He appears to be a better choice than the three chumps that we have running on the Republican ticket. I spent quite a while talking to him and all-in-all he was much more conservative than most Dems.
  4. I was most impressed with the Democrat, Will Avery, that is running for District 19. I might have to vote D for our state rep in November.
  5. Is it the mark that Tipper left on Al's butt when she kicked him out?
  6. The bill for teenagers has already been signed. Cell phone use for teenagers is completely banned in a vehicle. The bill in question is the second bill addressing adult drivers. It is the one with questionable verbiage. Not only is reading a text illegal, but texting while pulled over and still idling is illegal, too. None of this adds up to good law or common sense. "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." - Benjamin Franklin
  7. This bill is a sack of feel-good crap! It is already illegal to drive while distracted. The bill states that you can be pulled over for reading a text. How in the hell is a cop going to prove that you were reading a text? This is an open invitation for abuse and huge backlogs of litigation. If this law gets signed, you will start getting pulled over by every Podunk little department for no reason at all. This will turn into a revenue generating nightmare with no way to really prove that you were doing what you are accused of. Let me repeat, IT IS ALREADY ILLEGAL TO DRIVE WHILE DISTRACTED.
  8. I believe that Taco Mac has Pimms. Getting the strawberry and cucumber is the trick. Not much alcohol in them, but VERY refreshing in the summer time.
  9. I got bit when I was in Jr. High. It took a couple of months to fully heal. Not fun at all.
  10. Ray McBerry is a board member of the League of the South. He is a declared secessionist. Anyone who thinks that a single state should secede from the United States is a flipping loon.
  11. Dallas Farmers Market Dallas Farmer's Market is 100% this year.
  12. Karen Handel is the best option. She is a little green, but has the best head on her shoulders. All-in-all the entire field of candidates (D&R) is pretty much lacking.
  13. I didn't even think about the rain when I saw the thread title. I thought that maybe your checking on him in reference to the Red Wings being down 2-0 in the playoff series.
  14. I certainly am. My wife donated a kidney to a complete stranger, 3 years ago. It was one of the most amazing things that I have ever seen. It changed our lives in ways that are hard to explain.
  15. The biggest reason that I like the SPLOST is that many folks from Cobb come to Hiram and many from West Cobb shop at our Wal-Mart. They help to keep our millage rates from going up. As long as this does not increase our existing sales tax, I will most likely vote for it.
  16. Depends what you are looking for. I really like my Pre, but my daughter's Blackberry Curve (8500) is easily the most stable and reliable of the three phones. It's pretty simple to use, too.
  17. We have used Sprint for 10 years, too. No problems and we are now on the Everything Data plan with a Pre, Lotus, and Blackberry. With my corporate discount, I pay about $132 per month after taxes.
  18. UNLOAD your gun, before starting to clean it. Why is this so difficult to remember?
  19. Sounds like they never had him sign a non-compete agreement when he started there and they are looking to get it signed, now. Screw that. I would not sign anything, especially if they are only offering one week's pay.
  20. Theo's Brothers Bakery at Aspen's in The Avenues.
  21. All of the folks who you want to have civilian trials have committed crimes against our military on foreign soil. The WTC has nothing to do with that. The WTC attack was on our soil and should be treated accordingly. My attitude is that we should not have to make everybody feel warm and fuzzy when we are tending to the protection of our country. If these other countries would take care of business, we wouldn't have to. All of this and we still have time to save Haiti's butt and any others that cry for our help. The fact that you will not look at things objectively means that you will n
  22. Crimes against our military in another country does not warrant a trial with rights that are afforded to CITIZENS of the United States. Get that through your hollow flipping head. We will never win the heart and soul of the world. The radical sects of Islam will always hate us for being an "infidel" country. The man who is charged with treason will be tried in an a civilian court. He deserves that, since he is a citizen of our country. Then, when they find him guilty, he will die by lethal injection. There are many videos of him committing this treason, so it should be a fairly solid case
  23. He had higher cholesterol than last check up, he is still smoking, and had the knee issue. He is not the picture of perfect health. In fact, he didn't listen to a darned thing that they told him at the last visit. He really needs to quit smoking, like he said that he was going to do.
  24. The Finnish goalie just pulled himself! Now that's a bad day!
