Where is there one 2 miles down the road, that is nicer and cleaner? Are you saying 2 miles down the road from this stores location, or 2 miles down the road from where you live? And if it is any cleaner than this one, then it must be the picture of perfection and immaculate, as every time I have ever been in this Hiram store, it has been very, very clean.

I am under the impression that it is not the Kroger store that is so much wanting to leave, as it is the owner of the shopping center that is pushing them out. I don't know for sure, but that is what I am gathering from some of the comments on here. Maybe people should be contacting the shopping center owner, instead. I think if this is the case, then in my opinion, the shopping center owner has just made a really BAD, and very stupid business decision. Anyone heard any more about this? We just heard that there might be a sporting goods store opening there. Do any of you really want another sporting goods store? I don't. I never shop at the ones we have, now. We do still have a few don't we, or have they already dried up? I hate, hate, hate, shopping at the big mega stores, (Target and Walmart)just to get a few grocery items. I think that if the shopping center owners run this Kroger off, I think they, and the other businesses in there, will regret it, in no time. I sure hope Kroger stays!

I saw her do some interviews, and fell in love with her. I thought she was a truly beautiful woman, both inside and out. I am very sad to hear this news. She and her family will be in my prayers.

(Sorry it took me so long to respond) Haven't had a lot of time to get on Pcom much lately and I am bad about not checking messages in my profile. I don't get out in this mess either. I believe you are wickedly smart not to get out in this mess. Sounds, to me, like you have the right idea.

I have always heard that a picture is worth a thousand words, and I suppose two pictures would be worth two thousand words. And since most people nowadays have digital cameras, my suggestion would be to keep your camera close by and handy and if you see something suspicious, snap a couple of pictures, and if possible zoom up on a tag number. I think this could be more helpful to the SO than a dozen descriptions. If it turns out to be nothing, or just your neighbors "cousin" or something, then I would think they would still be very thankful that someone was watching and helping them to pro

*Getting on my soapbox, for a minute* I feel like it is only going to get worse from here, as the population continues to grow and everyone thinks they need their own "personal vehicle" to go 1 mile down the street, and back. I believe that the day is coming when most busy areas are going to need some form of public transportation, and we are going to have to learn to "park and/or give up our cars altogether". Say it is impractical all you want,........but, I think what UTfan just posted above, sounds far more impractical to me.
